He is not a PC for an upcoming player, FYI. He is an NPC- just in case that makes a difference for the group's behavior.

(In my mind, as soon as I say this Graela and Salt Peter jostle for the chance to be first to kill him. )

Well, now I'm curious. Is there a universal hand sign for turning undead?

My first thought was: is this easily confused with the restaurant hand sign for "check, please"?

So, after a mere 72 edits or so of the post I have a rudimentary map so people have at least a crude visual for the scene down in the cellar. I am hoping this will help everyone be clear and on the same page as to the what and where of the scene. If this is not helpful or needs tweaks then please let me know.
