Re: OOC forum
Traveling Saturday through Monday; will check in if possible; if needed please NPC Graela.
Winter is coming...
Re: OOC forum
Damnit! And I made a point of checking all the sheets too. Sorry I missed your goblinese, Travix. It's not like I was trying to keep secrets from you. Or was I?

I cast ESP on the DM!
Re: OOC forum
Just FYI for Salt Peter:
Mr. Sudden-Arrival Goblin was just investigating noise without knowing exactly what to expect. Salt Peter was already on the war path and attacking, knowing goblins were on the menu. So I give the initiative tie to Salt Peter.

Re: OOC forum
Tomorrow starts my heavy Fridays all semester. Not sure if I will be posting tomorrow so threw in a quick post this evening. Fridays should be my only day where posting could be hit or miss.

re:Hey! At least we know that there is definitely is a well down here now.
I figured I'd dispense with the coyness about the map since this is not your first foray into the cellar and you had seen almost everything before. Of course, I could have gone with what that black dot was in the original adventure- some sort of black hole that was quite deadly for PCs. Plus, there is more than enough danger that won't show up on the map. Enjoy!

At least it isn't a sphere of annihilation.
Right?

Re: OOC forum
Damn my ambiguous pronouns! Sloppy work on my part. Please inform sharp-eyed Graela of the following:
The small chain around the creature's body looked like shining silver when it was still attached. Once it was removed from the body then the chain had a dull, grey, mottled appearance. The pendant attached to the chain was the shape shown in the picture.

What's a pronoun?
Re: OOC forum
It finally dawned on me (I am the tortoise in this tale and not the hare) that Flower Mallet has started responding to others speaking to him in common when it was previously established he does not know it. My bad. I will try to be more consistent.
Re: OOC forum
Perhaps assigning a color to goblin-speak will help us all keep track of who understands what.

Re: OOC forum
Or presume that we translate everything said?
Re: OOC forum
I am fine with either option (and the first would allow me to start using the pretty purple color option!) but I think I am hearing Ogre Mage voting for universal translation. Unless told different (OOC or IC) I will assume universal translation. There may be times when Travix speaking too may cause issues but it should mostly be just fine. Mostly.
Re: OOC forum
I'd say: let's try the color-coded languages (why have languages if we're not going to have opportunities for mis-communication?) but if it turns into a boring slog, then we ditch it in favor of Universal Translation.

Re: OOC forum
Nice!
I'm with Pulp on this one.
I like purple.

Re: OOC forum
Purple it is. (Though I will put my foot down and veto French.)
Re: OOC forum
In my campaigns, standing 10' away is usually enough to save at least 2 of your limbs. But we'll let the dice decide, shall we?
