Osprey Palearctic, elven fighter/magic-user

I can climb down first. I'm lighter but closer to our bigger folk so can test the rungs better.

Osprey starts down the ladder, carefully checking the rungs for stability as he goes. He stops at times to glance down to see if he sees anything as he descends.

Wil concedes to following the tunnel to possibly enter the Temple. He would certainly prefer the more tactically safe plan to search the outbuildings first to protect the group's flank but recognizes that time may be pressing.

"knowing to exits from the main building we are much more secure I think yes yes yes!" Hex says watching Osprey climb down the hole.

Osprey bravely takes it upon himself to test the strength of the tunnel rungs by volunteering to go first. The nimble elf glances down as he makes his way, but he sees nothing unusual. Cautiously he makes his way to the bottom of the shaft without incident.

Aric, barbarian
ChubbyPixie wrote:"So, do we follow the tunnel now? Or wait till we're properly rested?" asks Yon.
Though the northman still feels the pain (12/18 HP) from his giant serpent wounds, he remains stoic and grunts: "We have but set foot down about the monastery and you would lounge and rest?"

He offers the rope as a safety for those climbing down, then gathering rope back the barbarian climbs down last. He'll skip uncertain rungs.
Even though he is aware of the healers in the group, Aric is not the type to ask for healing. However if sometime he should obviously need it, he could probably be persuaded. Or healed while he sleeps.

The group decides to investigate the hidden tunnel with hopes that it might ultimately lead them to the Crook of St. Othin.
