One of you smart computer guys. Could you create a spell generator for this forum.

Sounds cool, but what exactly is a spell generator? I found one here, but it just makes random names:

You would probably need to provide a lot more by way of requirements you wanted.
Dragon foot. Bamboo pole. Little mouse. Tiny boy.

It'd be interesting to have something that picks starting (and up to X level) spells for MUs and Illusionists. But that'd be edition specific, and probably a bunch of work. Wizardawn may have something and he usually breaks it down nicely. Like you can choose AD&D 1E, or 1E with UA, or OSRIC. Stuff like that. I wonder if he has a spell generator like what I'm thinking.
Interesting thoughts
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

I found a few sites but they mostly seem to 3.5 or newer.

http://truculent.org/spells/ This one does not work properly. Something like this would be awesome

Jacxor Ironforge-Dungeon of the Mad Mage (5e)
Kreed Oaken-Chaos halls

I don't see a spell generator at the rdinn.com site. I see how the truculent.org one works. That is interesting, but would take a lot of data entry into a spread sheet, entering all the spells, levels, etc. If someone would be willing to do this (or can find it already done) we could proceed with making something similar.
