From a hillock outside the walls of Neverwinter, the exhausted companions watch as the City of Skilled Hands is consumed by what they have come to know as "the green." Forces of Lord Neverember fought hard to stop the spread of the grove, but even with all their might and power, they barely slowed its spread. The river has stopped its spreading south, but you figure that is only a temporary barrier. The same goes for the westernmost part of the city.
It's amazing to watch nature in "fast forward" > it leaves all of you questioning your faith and position in this Realm. The egg you've "rescued" from the dryad pulsates with life...you know it won't be long before it hatches. And what of the other egg(s) in the dragon's lair in the ruins of Thundertree?
Answers to be sought surely. Actions to be taken. But for now...you need to rest and think...and pray for direction.
