Kelton
Woo Hoo!!!
He seems to be enjoying this power maybe a little too much, all things considered.

Re: Chapter 3 > Redbrand Hideout, Part 2
While Kelton crawls around the walls and ceiling like a spider-man the rest of the group spreads out to check the room. Aslaan takes point at the top of the walkway, crossbow in hand, while Gerland checks the eastern passage. (I'm assuming he is checking the southeastern passage...)
Gerland easily finds a secret door leading into a twenty-foot long hallway which he figures leads back to the crevasse cavern.
Meanwhile, the door north of the cistern opens into a 15 x 20 room with bunks, barrels, and boxes. There are two double bunks against the wall near the door, while barrels and crates fill the southern half of the chamber. Three dirty scarlet cloaks hang from the bunks.
Actions?

We should investigate the small room by the cistern before moving on.

Kael walks over the cistern to get a drink and splash some water over himself to cool off. All the fighting has left his stinking, bloody and sweating. He will try to drink first and then, if no one else is doing the same, will wash up a bit.

Aslaan searches the barracks room for loot and secrets.
Talking to the others, We can see where that eastern tunnel leads but it may end up being safer to exit the way we came in so as to keep a little anonymity.

Gerland
"I believe it is our best method for leaving here quickly. I think the secret door I found will lead us right back to the crevasse."

Following his lead, the Dendrar family does likewise, relishing in the briskness of the fresh water after being in captivity for several days.Computer +1 wrote:Kael walks over the cistern to get a drink and splash some water over himself to cool off. Aslaan's search of the crates and barrels turns up the following:
Salted pork and beef, flour, sugar, apples, and ale.
Nothing on, in, or under the bunks except for the ragged scarlet cloaks.
If the barrels in the cellar room are searched, you find more of the same.
Gerland and Ioriston consider which option is best to leave the complex.

Aslaan
Aslaan will grab some of the salted pork and apples to take along with him and then wait for the others to decide on an exit. He will wait on the raised walkway so as to be able to keep an eye on all known exits.

Kelton
Stores for the thugs, no doubt. He looks at the Dendrar's, Take what you like, this is all property of the town and of those who have suffered at the hands of these bastards! I can think of no one more deserving than yourselves!
After we get back to town, we can send a group of people back here with horses and wagons to clear the rest of this place out. No point in it going to waste in here if we have killed or uprooted all of the inhabitants of this thieves den.
Now.......which way should we leave from here?

Gerland goes over and grabs some of the food, offering it to the women. "I think we should head towards the eastern tunnel."

Re: Chapter 3 > Redbrand Hideout, Part 2
The food is there to stock up on for any who wants to take it, so with full pockets and packs, you make your way out of the ruins of the Tresendar manor. Carp is nowhere to be found in the woods...and you worry that perhaps Glasstaff may have hurt the lad. So, hurrying into town you are surprised to find at least a score of townsfolk waiting for you near the Alderleaf farm and Harbin Wester's home.
As soon as they see you approaching, they erupt in cheers and rush to greet you. The Dendrar family is overcome with emotions as their long-time friends and neighbors hug and support them. Several prominent citizens, including Daran Edermath, Halia Thornton, Sister Garaele, Harbin Wester, Qelline Alderleaf, and even Sildar Hallwinter, are amongst the common folk. And once the dust settles, you see Carp watching it all from his perch in a tree, eating an apple and grinning like a cat in a henhouse.
"Drinks are on me!" yells Halia Thornton, and that elicits another round of cheers and applause.
