Can you access your private forum? It should be at/near the top of the game page.

Aloha. Hedge found me in a "Looking for a 5e game" thread, and invited me to join the party. I still have a lot to read (more chapter 4) and learn (free basic 5e rules), and my player's handbook will only arrive in a few days; but I'll tentatively be joining in on IC posts even before my PC sheet is finished.

Excited to join.

Hahaha! It's Ioriston with an 'I'. Kelton and Ioriston got into it over that earlier in the campaign!

I swear that I didn't put him up to that one.

That's the last time I start a character name with an 'I'!

I find it best to only name my PCs with starting letters not yet used by other PCs (here A,G,I, and K) also taking into account what possible shortened nicknames will be used if it's not a simple name or a common name in English. So I'm not using the G name Gilornor (meaning "star tree" for my druid who used to be an astronomer), and I'm instead thinking of: Uilon (too weird?), Lavanor, Doronor, or Thonnor.

How do you pronounce "Uilon"?

I never tend to worry too much about names. I just name 'em what I want.

It's Sindarin, so "WHEE-lon" with the "l" like the one in "leaf" and the "o" like the one in dog.

Apologies for the delay in character creation - the basic rules don't have druids and lots of other things, and most websites don't have the Circle of the moon. I've ordered the Player's handbook, but deliveries take long in 3rd world countries...

For Uilon, you can remember its pronunciation as: getting a 5th wheel for the party - "WHEE-lon".

How do you pronounce "Ioriston"? Is it Sindarin for "ancient (lore) scholar": "yo-RIST-on",
"y" like in "yes",
"o" like in "dog",
"r" trilled like in Spanish,
"i" like in "hit"?

Don't worry, someone is bound to be killed sooner rather than later and we'll be back to four wheels.

That's exactly how you pronounce it!

We just came from building 13 a bit ago so we don't need to search that one again. We just finished with buildings 6 and 8 so we can move on to 5 then 4 from where we are now.

Apologies for not posting sooner, fellers. Went back to work this week and then headed out of town this morning for one last "guys" weekend with my son.
Uilon literally rushed right in :) and now, the group is back to five...assuming they don't attack and start beating each other to death!
