Just a heads up.

Got it. Thanks, wolfpack.

Everyone, regarding the marching order: In the water, at times you may march more than two abreast. Sometimes up to four. Do you?

Thanks.

Can the gnomes please ride on Grothnak's back like in Thunderdome? In that way we could form one, multi-armed super warrior.

Actually, what can we do about us gnomes and the water depth? Maybe Bo should turn into a crocodile for our comfort and convenience. :)

I thought of that too.

Can I have another magic potion, Inferno? PLEASE!!! :D

Bo could let Urdur ride along on his shoulders I guess, but not the one with the metal teeth. He is just too heavy. :P

Bo is tall, so he is fine somewhere in the back.

I'm not sure about the four abreast thing, though.

A few boats would be nice.

Or, I dunno, hip waders.

This sounds good to me. Urdur is happy to ride on the shoulders of Bo. :)

I'll say yes but only for 1/2 your maximum movement; 1/3 for the gnomes.

Also, no chicken fights: Bo can't charge with Urdur riding piggy back. ;)

Thanks. I can't quite make out the distance. Could Grothnak reach the zombies thus round if he charged?

Brevos is 60 feet ahead of the group.

Grothnak's movement of 90 feet becomes 45 feet in water. Melee range is 10 feet, which still leaves him 5 feet short unless the undead move northward.

A natural 20 is a critical hit that doubles the rolled damage, as per the haunted House Rules.
Nice rolling! :)

No. Thieves in AD&D 1e aren't archers.

I guess Grothnak won't give him his bow, then.

How are elves at holding their breath? Maybe he could sneak up under water and get a heck of a backstab. :)

Why? Because he's an elf? Racist!
I'm pretty sure you can't backstab the dead. They are not dependent on vital organs to live plus, they sense lifeforce so no sneaking up on them without magic.

That may be true in later editions, but in 1e all a thief needs for a backstab is a back to stab and an enemy that's unaware of the thief. As far as I'm aware, undead in 1e don't sense life force and the backstab description doesn't say anything about vital organs.

I'd say zombies have backs, so their backs can be stabbed. But it's Inferno's campaign. :)
