Chapter 1: The Shadow Over Briarsgate:
Prologue:
- Elakim the Seer: An old, blind, wise Druid of Oyt Wood, who asked Long Bo to investigate the rumors of Briarsgate.
Praetorius: A jeweler who knew Hoom's deceased father, and is said to have moved to Briarsgate.
High Priest Sevaerius: The stern vicar of The Order of the Bridge of Virtue, to which belongs Pelias Blanchflower.
Sheelba of the Eyeless Face: The Grey Mouser's enigmatic, sorcerous patron who sent him on a mission to Briarsgate.
Hochoch:
- Rundicant the Plump: An obese merchant in Hochoch.
Alfredd: The fearful barkeeper at The Anchor And The Bell inn.
