Eyes at the Threshold (ooc and questions IX)
Here, the players and the DM may continue to converse with each other as their true selves, whatever that may be.

A musical genius from a time before there were superstars.Got my character (Faron, named for the classic country-western music star Faron Young) built.
I am interested to hear where you came up with this concept.

Love the Ajax reference! I used the same inspiration for these unicorn warriors I did for a board game back in 2016 (approximately one million years ago).
Re: Eyes at the Threshold (ooc and questions IX)
I like Ajax's character concept, really nice. A search for "Frank Frazetta death dealer" gets a lot of great images, both by fans and Frazetta himself. There's even an action figure. https://incendium.online/products/dd-fig

Thank ya! He's kind of sparse at the moment, but I've had precious little chance to be creative with work hammering me down this week. I love the Death Dealer art and the old book series!jemmus wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 2:00 pm I like Ajax's character concept, really nice. Hey Inferno, did we hear the guards demanding such a toll of all who entered before us? Or does it seem like they're shaking us down in hopes that we don't know better?

Is there an alley that Urdur can sneak down and maybe cast Invisibility on himself?
How do we know you're not a donkey-brained man?

You haven't entered the walled city yet so there are no alleys nearby.

Re: Eyes at the Threshold (ooc and questions IX)
Since it took days of travel to get to the city, and I keep forgetting it's a spell, can we retcon the journey a bit so Ingrid could cast 2 Continual Light spells a day, handing out a permanently lit pebble to each character? It makes no sense that she would have the spell but never use it when we have light issues so often and it's not something I typically think about when we are actually doing things, but would be a perfect thing to do during travel days.

Can we have it cast on something other than a pebble?

Re: Eyes at the Threshold (ooc and questions IX)
Sure. Ingrid is happy to cast it on whatever the characters would like. I figured a pebble is small and easy to stick in a pouch when you don't want it emitting light. What would Bo prefer it on- his beard, perhaps?
