Ha. Thanks. Fwiw, these settlers on the northeast side of the mountains have a slight Scottish brogue.
The antiquated zealots of the Ashblood Colony have a dialect inspired by Old English.
The owl, being of a wise and ancient race, also speaks in Old English. So do the wolves.
Sephus, not the most noble bird there is, speaks in modern English.
And Jenkins, that famed mouse among mice, was based on the two chipmunks from Looney Tunes.

I am glad that you pick up on my friendly little innuendos.

Personally, I love the different accents. They even sound good in print. :D

As some of you know, this weekend is Gamehole Con, so I will be busy Wednesday-Sunday and will probably not have opportunity to check in until Sunday night, as pretty much every waking moment during the con is spent gaming.
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

I will be there as well, so my usual posting rate will diminish considerably for the next few days.

I'll be back in full force on Monday. :)

Happy Halloween!

Incidentally, for any other Lovecraft nerds, there's a new Lovecraft podcast just out called "Voluminous." It's pretty good. Andrew Lehman is one of the hosts.

I tried to address this IC.....

Wasn't there some talk of a great evil mentioned somewhere around this town?

i think when jerome detected evil there was nothing in the INN but something just outside of town but he never relayed that to us

Didn't we kind of know it was around here from our initial encounter with the ashblood colony and the girl that was taken? i could be wrong.

Not trying to meta-game, but this sentence seems important and I didn't want to miss it.

I had taken that to be the Evil up the mountain, which is whty Jerome didn't mention it. We already know it's there.

I took it to mean that something in this town was evil, but since we have already awaken the next morning unscathed, I guess that point is now moot. :D
