Yup. Firing at A5 (who is fighting Pelias) is 'firing into a melee' as per DMG, and has an equal chance to strike friend or foe.
Fortunately, none of the attacking PCs hit.

Bo enters the room (10) and rushes due north in the direction of the disappearing priest. When he gets to the corner, he stops and listens for a moment before taking a peek around the corner to his left.

I don't think the priest went towards 10. That's the room Grothnak just came out of. Grothnak would definitely have taken a swipe at the priest if they'd crossed paths.

Or are you hoping there's a connection between the north end of room 10 and where the priest went?

I was hoping they were connected as there seems to be a darkness behind where the priest disappeared.

Maybe I could spot him if the hall is connected to the back of the chapel? That is why he was trying to be careful and sneak a look around the corner instead of barging right in.
