Happy Holidays!

#1 Post by Rhourk »

Happy Holidays Everyone! Thank you for indulging my Christmas spirit last night, and I hope you all had fun. No game for me next week, maybe even two weeks depending on how work shapes up, finishing up a big project.

But Bloodlines will return in the new year. We will start right in on the final part of Chapter 1! A grand multi-part adventure that I promise will show you things that you have never seen before. This will be the culmination of Yara's Magical Aparatus plotline. What was he suppressing/protecting/other "ing" ending words here? What is Xaltotun's part in this? What will happen when the last spoke in Yara's spell is shut down? Were he and Xaltotun allies or enemies? Where the Hell are all of these Shadow Demons coming from? Will Galius and Lycia finally hook up? Will Zildjin ever use that damn potion of resistance? All of these and more when we return?

*Which Hell are all these Shadow Demons coming from?
*Will Galius ever give into his suppressed admiration for Lycia and what will their kids look like?
*Will Zildjin ever take advantage of the damage-reduction items or give them to the one who took 250hp of damage last game?!
*Will the CTO ever frigging finish the spell descriptions?!

Once we get Galius resurrected, Lycia offers him the Tome of the Clear Thought (once read, grants permanent +1 Int, then book is useless) as well as the Amulet of Protection (+1 AC, stacks with Mage Armor) and advises against him going into melee combat with four ogres next time.

OOC: I'll add the needed magic items to the sheets over the next week or so.

found in the temple of the mind, aka the brain cave
  • Helm of the Quiet Mind - Crazy Wolf - mind is inaccessible/immune to psionic spells/abilities.
  • Tome of the Clear Thought - Galius - grants perm +1 to Int
  • Ring of Mind Shielding - unclaimed - immune to mind reading, zone of truth, etc. As action ring goes invisible. (Recommended for Lycia as it's excellent for bluffing and she has the highest Cha
  • 4 healing potions
Rewards last night for rescuing Nick
  • 3 platinum rings - Kitz, Aurora, Crazy Wolf - needed for Warding Bond spell (DM, if these didn't count torward the "Christmas gift" number, could each party member get one or no?)
  • +1 rapier - Zildjian
  • Cimerian Broadsword information - Crazy Wolf - While the swords damage cannot be enhanced in any way (magic/sharpening/etc), it's damage can also never be resisted in any way, magical or otherwise
  • Necklace of Protection - Galius - +1 to AC, stacks with Mage Armor (Bridget remembered Galius when Santa started reaching in his Havards Handy Holiday Haversack
  • Familiar pouch - Kitz/Crazy Wolf - Back sling fitted for Crazy Wolf that Kitz can ride in
  • +1 focus - Aurora, Lycia - +1 to spell DC & spell ToHit

Added 1 healing potion to Galius, Crazy Wolf, Zildjian, & Kitz
