LFG - Pathfinder, 5e, 13th Age

#1 Post by Dee Kay »

Hello!

I'm looking to join one of the following games listed in the heading. I have experience as a player and GM in all, and can post several times a week. Please contact me if you have room in your game.

Thank you,

Dorian
Shall we play a game?

Welcome, again, DK!
Good post to let folks know what you are looking for.
You'll likely get a bunch of hellos from our supportive members, and hopefully a game or two will head your way!
Be well and be welcome!

This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Dorian, I don't think anyone has ever run a 13th Age games, and it's been a few years since there's even been any interest expressed in it, so you might be out of luck there. As for Pathfinder, I think there's only been a single game of it run here (my failed attempt from a couple of years ago), so a game using that ruleset might be tough to come by, too.

5e is definitely your best bet, and even it seems to be a bit of a tough sell here... but there is at least some interest. In fact, Mister-Kent recently started up his 'RANDUNSAN! 5E Pulp Sandbox' game which you might be able to jump right into; definitely throw out a post in his recruitment thread or send him a message if you're interested.
The next game I participate in -- as a player or a DM -- will almost certainly be 5e, but I'm not looking to add or join anything else until the game I'm currently running it is completed (which it probably won't be for quite a while yet).

Playtest: Untitled Project (1e)

Greyhawk Campaign: Sandbox (1e)
