I am still in or I can be on the waiting list. Wasn't sure if you were counting me.

I suppose I should inform all of you about the way I do things on here before asking for your commitment......
I don't normally post DM rolls in my games as I am usually playing from a mobile device, making it a lot harder to reply with rolls easily or accurately. I use a roller ap on my phone, and actually like to use real dice when I am at home. Players will make and link all of their own rolls in the game threads using the US roller.

I will be utilizing a few of my normal house rules, but it shouldn't be anything that you haven't all seen before.

I like to make my responses seem less computer generated and more story-like when I reply to posts. Role playing is highly encouraged in my games and I find that works better when the game feels more story based.

Again, this game will be considerably slower than my normal 24/48 hour posting rate games. I am only asking that you post twice a week at the start, then we will see how things shape up from that point on.
Welcome Lunna!
I have added you to the list. :D

If I can get a final confirmation from Zhym, NJWilliam, and Monsieur Rose, (and maybe one more player?) I will get the process started for this one.

Thanks for the interest so far everyone!!!

Maybe PM NJ? I know I check LFM threads much less frequently after I've indicated I'm in.

Also, he hasn't been on in a month (a fact that Alethan might have been reluctant to mention; as a moderator, he can probably see last login info for people who have it hidden, and he might not know what we lowly users can see).

Good idea.

I will give that a try.

I haven't played a lot with NJ so I'm not certain about his posting rate.

I can see ALL the things.

Even when hidden users are on-line and what they are looking at. ;)

ah so you can see me and Zhym and some of the others that usually "hide" and lurk. :) Just FYI NJWilliam also joined another game but hasn't logged in since expressing interest I sent him a PM a month ago and it's still in my "outbox" just an FYI prior to that NJ was pretty good in the games I've played in with him. Not sure whats going on right now I just hope he is alright.

My role in the face-to-face group has been the DM, and I was afraid this was a module I had run for them. But as it turns out, it is one I have no knowledge of, so count me in!

That's enough to convince me to request a game thread be set up.

I will give everyone a heads up when that is ready to go. (usually only takes a day or two)

Until then, go ahead and start thinking about what you would like to run.

I'm open to playing anything, really, and happy to let the dice rolls dictate what I build, but if anyone is interested in playing something specific, maybe a good idea to indicate that in the OOC discussion thread once Ogre Mage gets a campaign set up. That way we can start thinking about what we need to form a cohesive group with all bases covered.

Ogre Mage, are you going to just give a flat amount of XP to everyone to make their build? Or do we pick a class and start them at the lowest number of XP for 4th level?

Also, is this standard PHB classes and races? Or is UA in effect?

I'm open to run anything. I've got so many PCs in so many games on here that I think I'm running just about everything from the 1e PHB except an assassin and a monk. And maybe an illusionist, come to think of it.

Come to think of it, I don't have any clerics active. Huh.

I'm thinking flat XP amount for everyone as of right now, but I am still thinking on that one. We should end up with a good mix of characters from 3rd to 4th level.

No UA classes will be allowed, though I am open to using some of the spells and/or magic items.

I'd like to play something other than what I already am in my other pbp games. But that won't be hard with all the choices out there.
Ogre Mage, what method do you use for rolling abilities?

We will use 4d6, dropping the lowest, arranged in desired order.

However, I would like to see them rolled using a macro, so I prefer players wait till I have the game thread up and running before any rolls are made.

I will start a character generation thread once the main game thread is up.
