Looking for a Dungeon Crawl Classics game.

I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.

The great thing about DCC is that if we each have multiple PCs, it won't be for long.

My guess is fewer players with more PCs is easier to run than more players with one PC. If there are too many players opting in, someone can always create a second game.

I'm good for weekdaily posts.

As kalstone stated 0-level DCC is deadly, that's why there are multiple characters. The intent is to quickly roll them up and not get too attached.

I've run our Mutant Future game with up to nine players without any problems.

Funnels are generally meant for 15-20 level 0 characters, so it should be fine.

I was just thinking 15-20 characters run by four players is a very different animal than that number when run by 8 players. But I'm in then and can post almost every day. Mondays may be difficult at times.

That's true. For one thing, player posts are typically the same length whether they are running two PCs or four PCs; in other words, the number of paragraphs everyone has to digest per "turn" is more dependent on the number of players rather than the number of PCs.

I think 8 players should be perfectly fine, though, as long as we try our best to keep to a fairly strict post rate of once a day during the week, and understand that if you haven't posted by the end of the day, then our Referee will simply move forward assuming that you're doing the same thing you did last post. With 7+ people involved, if we default to the usual mentality of "wait until everyone posts before we move on," then we'll always be in danger of things grinding to a halt.

I've recently adopted the post-by-deadline-or-get-NPC'd approach in my campaign, and I think it's been working very well. At least, I haven't heard any complaints.
