B/X Dungeon Crawl ~OPEN~

I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.

There is still time to get in the game, MajorRoy. The party hasn't entered the dungeon yet.

Hey!
I am opening up A Company of Corpses.
I am hoping to get two or three more players. I think they will be needed to help with survivability as the party moves deeper into the mines.

You may choose standard B/X characters and/or characters from The Complete B/X Adventurer (No Centaurs)
Image

so your choices are:

Dwarf
Elf
Halfling
Cleric
Thief
Fighter
Magic User
Acrobat
Archer
Barbarian
Bard
Beastmaster
Bounty Hunter
Duelist
Gnome
Oger-Kin
Mountebank
Mystic
Scout
Summoner
Tattoo Mage
Witch
Witch Hunter

(again, no centaurs)
Dwarf characters may have an advantage.
You are allowed 2 characters. One character is 3rd level, the other (a kind of "sidekick") is 1st level. For the beginning gold of your 3rd level character, roll for beginning gold as you would for a 1st level character and multiply the result by 3.

Basic backstory: You are in pursuit of a human man named Nigh. He has done you wrong somehow in your past (to be determined by you when you create your character's back story). It is believed he is a priest in service of an evil deity, but no one knows for sure. Everywhere he travels he brings ruin, madness, and death. Know one knows with certainty what he looks like, descriptions vary and he has had many guises.
Beyond these few details, you are free to describe him and his actions as you wish in your backstories. Legends and descriptions of Nigh vary, so it is okay that each character may have a different description of him. And that some details may be contradictory.

This common goal of vengeance (or justice) has brought your characters together.
You tracked Nigh to the small town of Hamlet and from there to the Mines. There the party established an uneasy truce with the kobolds. Now you are venturing onwards in the mines hoping to find some sign of Nigh.

For what it is worth, I am interested in this game, but I am already committed to/involved in several other games, including two that I am just learning the system of. So for now, I will pass, but if you have openings in a few months, I would like to jump in.

Or, I suppose, if it makes/breaks the game, I could be coerced into joining sooner.

In the meantime, I'll just keep reading along.
