Is there a way to copy a character sheet (replacement pc)

I took over an existing character, and can read the data sheet, but can't edit it.
Without opening a new window and hand keying all the data, is there a copy feature would work in these situations?

If the original user deletes the character, is there any way of retrieving it?
i.e. how urgent is it that I transcribe it (assuming that is the only method)

Your DM (or I) can change the post to make it owned by you, thus allowing you to edit it.

Once the post is deleted, it can't be retrieved. I doubt that the previous player will delete it (I don't think he even can), but the DM could.

Post the link to the character here and I'll edit it so it is owned by you, (if your DM doesn't get to it first.)

I am more talking about the character app piece rather than the thread post itself.

Ahhh, I see. We need to associate that character in the dice roller with your account there instead of the previous user. That's a little more complicated, but I think I can pull it off. What's your user name at the dice roller?

**EDIT** I just set the post to be yours, but we still have to move the PC at the diceroller.
