Brave New World - 3.5ed

Adventures in Valnwall (LL AEC)
Bloodlines: D&D 5th Ed
Labyrinth Lord West Marches Sandbox

All of these can be archived > no postings for weeks or months.

Alethan is checking on the Bloodlines game. He keeps an eye on it, because they are using USS for information sharing (I believe) and not for actual playing of the game. :)
We're cutting edge here at Unseen Servant, even with our old school mentality!
--Ron--
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Appreciate the info, everyone. I have a process in place and know which games are exceptions.

I'll continue with my process.

The biggest help, for future reference, would be to let an Admin/Moderator know when you end your game if you are the GM. Whether it is officially "won", a TPK, or you are putting the game on ice for a while because of personal reasons, we can shift games out of the active section and back in as necessary.

Thanks,
Alethan

The information in this game folder is being used as a place to maintain information for a game that takes place outside of the forums, per a prior agreement with Spanky Taz and the USS Forum.

I'm not sure about the others, but I'll send a message to them all and give them 48 hours to respond before we move the games to abandoned or archived.

Thanks for the heads up, Inferno.

I just locked all the "threads" in the game as well so nobody should be able to post in the game now that it is completed.

Darkmane as completed Under Streets of Splendor (2ed) if you'll notice in the game's OOC he said we are done with the game and closing it up.

in addition to that spearmint had to close up his games as well due to medical and other RL issues that have come up in his life he mentioned that in his pirates game. So that means Pirates: Cannons and Dragons (1ed homebrew) can be archived since we never really completed the game yet and might pickup again if he is able to return to the forums.

Thanks. You can PM both however spearmint hasn't replied to my last PM to him on the day he announced he had to leave and end the game, just an FYI.

Spartakos' Adventure on the Borderlands of Lemora can be archived or placed in the abandoned folder.
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

I would like to formally request the move of the three archived games listed under my name to the abandoned section, please.

Gurps SAO: Genius swordsman0351's Arc
Rebirth of Power (4e GURPS)
Dark Eye of the East (OSRIC)

Thank you.

I've thought about it long and hard over the months, and I've decided that my heart and mind is no longer in it for those games anymore. If I return to this site, it will be as a player, simply a participant in someone else's game, nothing more.

The 'Abandoned' games section is more for tracking games that were -- well, abandoned due to the DM just disappearing; not because they changed their minds and are no longer interested in running the game for whatever reason.

I've moved these to the 'Completed' section instead.

Thanks for letting us know.

It pains me to say it, but AleBelly's Lone City in the Wildlands game should probably be moved into the "Abandoned Games" section. AleBelly hasn't been on since January and hasn't posted since last year. :(
