I just noticed this:(which, hi, is obviously me. What can I say? I'm a little embarrassed about how often I'm logged in), shouldn't that be 6 total users instead of 7?
I know this is probably a phpBB thing, and is too trivial to put on a fix list. I just thought I'd mention it since it seems odd.
If there are 5 registered users online, why are only four listed? If the five registered users includes one hidden phpBB can't count?

Re: phpBB can't count?
It's just a syncing issue between the count and the displayed names.
If you click the Who Is Online hyperlink it displays a snapshot of current users and counts accurately. Of course, the list changes so often by the time you've returned to the main screen it could be different, especially during peak use times.
Don't think it's something we're going to worry about, in any case.

Re: phpBB can't count?
Watching the numbers a bit more, it seems pretty clear that the total at the bottom of the board index adds the number of registered users, hidden registered users, and anonymous users to get its total user count. I hadn't even noticed the "Who is online?" link.
Like I said: nothing that needs to be fixed. Just a curiosity.

not surprising in the least considering the source.
