Roll on the Fritz?
Is anyone else having continual failures on the roller? as in tried several rolls macro and on the fly and continuing to get 0 as a result?
Only asking as it is happening to me right now roughly 6 rolls in even very simple like 1d6 roll = 0
my 7th or so try got this: Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'
Type mismatch: 'cint'
/support/allpurpose.asp, line 147

There's a case of beer in it for you if you find out that the roller was rolling low since this morning.

Re: Roll on the Fritz?
It does this when the off-site random number generator is having problems. Unfortunately, I can't control that, so the best thing is to wait. I'm glad it is working now.
I just saw this on the random.org home page:
I just saw this on the random.org home page:
RANDOM.ORG will be intermittently unavailable on Sunday 2014-02-09 9-11am UTC (4-6am EST) due to a system upgrade.

Sorry to hear that. I feel it's much more robust now that I moved it to a new host.hedgeknight wrote:It has become so unreliable that I primarily use Invisible Castle now.

Agreed. This issue crops up for maybe a half hour at a time every few months now? Not really a big deal, to me, anyway...ToniXX wrote:Sorry to hear that. Re: Roll on the Fritz?
Eh well I had heard rumors that it does it once in a while for like one roll but that was crazy the other day 7 or 8 rolls over like an hour.

Re: Roll on the Fritz?
It has nothing to do with the number of rolls; it has everything to do with the length of time Random.org is down.GreyWolfVT wrote:Eh well I had heard rumors that it does it once in a while for like one roll but that was crazy the other day 7 or 8 rolls over like an hour.
