Don't know if it was me by accident or a bug but Kaltar has become " in the roller. I can't click on the name to amend as it doesn't appear to be there to be clickable ! Anything you can do behind the scenes to solve? Thanks

Re: Character Name change in roller
I think if you click on "My Characters" on the top of the screen, then click on the character name on the next screen you are able to edit it.
I think.
I think.
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Re: Character Name change in roller
Cheers Ron but I actually think there is a bigger problem - the whole char sheet has been wiped/ resey to 0 ...apart from ability scores so its definitely a bug and not me! Can someone restore the previous data?

I'm looking into this now.
"Sir, our research shows that the bird is equal to or greater than the word."
Re: Character Name change in roller
I don't know why this happened. I put the name back in, so please try to edit back the info that was lost (hopefully you can, and/or remember the info). You should be able to click on the name now. Post here with your results.

Re: Character Name change in roller
Is the name on those character sheets the primary key and when it sees a null it thinks the whole thing is null?

I would certainly hope not.AQuebman wrote:Is the name on those character sheets the primary key and when it sees a null it thinks the whole thing is null?
I know it never should, but can a name (or any varchar data type) even be set as a primary key?
Re: Character Name change in roller
No, each character has a unique ID that represents them in the database.AQuebman wrote:Is the name on those character sheets the primary key and when it sees a null it thinks the whole thing is null?
Yes, it can but yes, that's not a good idea!dmw71 wrote:I know it never should, but can a name (or any varchar data type) even be set as a primary key?

Re: Character Name change in roller
I can retype stuff but is there no way just to call it back?
Re: Character Name change in roller
No, there is not. Sorry about that. I still don't know exactly what went wrong here.saalaria wrote:I can retype stuff but is there no way just to call it back?
