How to edit thread titles

Hey, just curious to see if users can edit the titles of threads they have started or if I need to request a moderator/admin to do it. Also, just out of curiousity, is profanity allowed on this forum?

To edit a thread title, modify the Subject line of the first post under that thread.

Profanity in itself is not strictly prohibited or monitored. However, it should never be directed at another player.
