OOC Chat
Re: OOC Chat
Please review the first Mutation Power table and let me know if its readability/visibility is satisfactory, before I post more.

It's all good until the DM/GM laughs. Then you start to wonder hmm what is he up too.Norjax wrote:GreyWolfVT wrote:should be good since i don't mutate

Looks good. Are glowburn rules in effect?

Nah, nothing scheming. I just thought your answer was funny.GreyWolfVT wrote:It's all good until the DM/GM laughs. Then you start to wonder hmm what is he up too.Norjax wrote:GreyWolfVT wrote:should be good since i don't mutate

Empathy power table is up. Let me know if you have any questions about how this works.shaidar wrote:OOC: I'm sort of guessing what the Empathy power lets you do, let me know if I'm wrong

Thanks, so the effect improves depending on how good I roll and I assume that the plus to the roll increases as my level increases?Norjax wrote:Empathy power table is up. So, unless specified is the range line of sight?
It's slightly more obvious a power to use than I thought

Yes. I've outlined the mutation roll on the Character Sheets, including the level modifier.shaidar wrote:Thanks, so the effect improves depending on how good I roll and I assume that the plus to the roll increases as my level increases?
I would say yes, you have to be able to see the target. So, unless specified is the range line of sight?
---
Sensing an emotional state is detecting ambient energies without the target's knowledge. Trying to change or control the target's emotions allows a save, meaning that the target will be aware of a mental 'attack'.
Re: OOC Chat
here's a question about Magnetic Control, assuming you roll a high enough power check, could you use it to fly?
Re: OOC Chat
Judging by the necessity of ferrous content, I don’t see how this would work. Perhaps if the environment was saturated with metal, one could levitate and push themselves off of an immovable metallic mass.shaidar wrote:here's a question about Magnetic Control, assuming you roll a high enough power check, could you use it to fly?
Re: OOC Chat
fair enough. its just that at higher rolls it said you can move things/crestures with only small amounts of iron in them (such as the iron in your blood) and I wondered if that included yourself
Re: OOC Chat
OK, I didn't see the "iron in blood" comment. It doesn't exclude the person of the character, so this could be used to move, lift and control the mutant’s own body. The range and duration limits would still apply.shaidar wrote:fair enough. its just that at higher rolls it said you can move things/crestures with only small amounts of iron in them (such as the iron in your blood) and I wondered if that included yourself
Re: OOC Chat
thanks. he's not that powerful at the moment and I guess the STR indicated will be a limiting factor in how much he can lift, including himself.
Stupid question regarding duration: does CL mean character level, or something else?

as the empathy power works for a turn per level, can Silvestri continue to monitor his target?
