Chet will also check the floors for traps, moving carefully along the south wall until he can see what's down the corridor heading north.

Hyde stops suddenly, mumbles something unintelligible, and begins unstrapping the banded mail from his arms, then tinkers with the sack and it's contents.

The party explores several areas of the prison. Chet and Galan spread out, searching the floor carefully for traps.
DM rolls dice
Watt follows behind Galan, testing the floor with his pole - his weight is much greater than that of the robed gnome. He finds the ground to be firm. Yenny and Arnulf begin to file in to the dark room.
Meanwhile, Angus and Dandelion remain behind while Hyde removes the armor from his arms. He carefully inspects the pack for any wires or similar traps.

He finds none, and reaches into the sack, moving the contents about. His hands feel the smooth metal of the disk...
Hyde, please give me an action next round, but also include a d20. Thanks!
At the same time, Chet, who has made it nearly to the west wall, calls out to the others "Guys! Get your weapons ready! But don't attack just yet!" The monk is looking into the corridor heading north.

The monk attempts to brush it aside with his arm, but remembers too late that the blade has a serpentine (S) shape - a danger at two ends!
Dodge missile attack: [1d20] = 9
Blade damage [1d4] = 4
A hiss of joy is heard from the corridor as the blade gashes Chet's forearm, who then joins the others in the black-floored room. The rest of the party holds their ground, awaiting further action but readying themselves for battle. But the chameleon women do not advance. Are they lying in wait?
Meanwhile, Hyde finds no traps in the backpack. Angus watches as the half-orc reaches in to touch one of the disks. The mighty fighter begins to sway. Our hero Hyde, who abstains from all alcohol, appears drunker than a waltzing piss ant! He staggers south, hitting the wall. He is not hurt, but he cannot seem to right himself...

Yenny holds her shield in front of her in a defensive pose and heads forward. She will not enter the room whence came Chet, but would like to see in. She grumbles a bit as she advances, "Why are we here again? Curiosity? Hmmph."

Yenny begins to advance, voicing her distaste at this place. But as she moves forward, two figures emerge from the corridor. At first, the party mistakes them for formless ghosts - clothing or armor fitting unseen figures. But a flicker of lamplight shows eyes - the skin of the chameleon women matches the black of the walls! In front is a sneering reptile-woman, holding a bunched up net. She is protecting a robed figure behind her - the robed reptile woman begins to speak an arcane language, reaching into a pouch at her belt.
Watt pulls his dagger from his belt and makes ready to throw.

Each square's edge is 5'. The beige brick-looking things are walls. The party is spread out among three rooms - the black floor room, the small room with the hanging ghoul, and the room with the pack.
