Yeah, that was good.
Re: OOC III
Considering her previous interrogation tactic involved shoving her spear in a person's face, I think she's grown. If Elf Bitch could only see her now, she'd be so proud.

Re: OOC III
To be fair, that other guy was REALLY annoying. And she didn't have the Charm spell ready in advance, as she does now.

That sounds more like sour grapes jealousy talking than an objective description of her natural beauty...AleBelly wrote: her looks (such that they are).

We need to get Chet back into the group. We've had a serious deficit of punching since he and Superelf ran off.tkrexx wrote:You get outta hand and I'll slug ya.
(Also—I just noticed that this is page 27. Might be time for a new OOC thread?)

Re: OOC III
I've been missing that too!
Re: OOC III
Poor goblins. They might very quickly outstrip their usefulness.
Re: OOC III
If they ever have any. Not much four goblins can do.
Heck, you'd think the two other goblins would be a bit more respectful considering how things would probably go for them if (when) it all comes to blows.

Re: OOC III
I wouldn't begrudge anyone who put a spear through their face.....
Re: OOC III
The reason I asked about distance was that if Angus was already in melee range he'd have just unloaded whoop-ass on the uncharmed goblins. As it is, he's trying to get close so that he's in position when things finally go pear-shaped.
Hope that's not too much table talk.

I expect others in same boat, but I'll be AFK most of holiday, so may not be able to post till Tuesday.

I too was out for the weekend. Updates coming today/tonight.
Re: OOC III
If we don't get anyone new joining, what do you think about opening the game up to two PCs per player?

Re: OOC III
Sorry, I don't really like the multiple character concept...but the bigger reason is that it will big the game down. I'm nearly at max capacity and doubling the number of parties could cause each adventure to grind to a halt.
Re: OOC III
Yeah, I wasn't thinking multiple concurrent expeditions like in the West Marches game. That way lies DM insanity. Mostly that multiple characters would be useful if we had trouble filling out a viable adventuring group. But I also get that the multiple PC thing has issues. And we aren't quite that bad off.
Oddly enough, I think the main problem Gygax had with multiple PCs per player—the ability of players to devote full attention to each PC—isn't so much an issue in PbP, where most of us are playing multiple PCs anyway. They're just in different games. But PbP adds its own issues for dealing with multiple PCs per player.

Re: OOC III
Sorry, i had an unexpected off day yesterday.
If it was up to a vote, Id hope we could quickly snap fingers for training, rather than have everyone at off sequenced schedules. Someone would have to wait around twiddling thumbs while others adventurize no matter .
Now, if the bounty arc comes into play, we could have it happen after training, before we head out again???

Re: OOC III
Just the idea of the "bounty plotline" is enough to make me want to stay out on expedition. . Blech.
But I know Hyde is diggin' it, though. Perhaps that's the real split? Fast forward through training. Hyde and Dandelion, as the city-comfortable urban PCs, have a mini expedition to trace-back the bounty in the city while we take a quick side trip in the forest?
We can synch up at a common date after.
