Cmo - Halfling

With the sounds of combat, Cmo climbs out of his hammock and readies his weapon as he cautiously goes above deck.

Beya 'the Blade' Magic-User

Beya will scramble to the deck and stay away from the fray; and upon recognizing that the attackers are undead; she will await to see the results of her fellow priestly party member's Turning attempt before unleashing her Magic Missile spell upon any non-retreating foe....

Good rolls, everybody. I'll update later tonight with some results. It's just getting dark here, so the tricksters are out and about. Time to hand out candy. Happy Halloween everybody!

11:15pm - Round 1: water zombies board the ship

Two zombies have made it to the railing. As they climb over...
  • Styrk fires another arrow, and misses badly. He then drops his bow and readies his shield and sword.
  • Lenore fires an arrow from further back. The arrow misses just to the right of one of the zombies head. Lenore watches it whiz by, and notices the beasts black lips and waterlogged face. She's able to start back to her quarters to retrieve her other possessions.
  • Harick attempts to turn the creatures, but they seem completely unaffected.
  • Krank hits one square on the shoulder, his sword slicing deep into the waterlogged flesh. The beast gurgles and moans, then falls over the side of the caravel.
  • Elrohir attacks the other with his trusty spear, and hits home, hard! Please roll another damage roll for the critical hit
  • Cmo is now above deck and ready, but holds his position.
  • Beya 'the Blade' is now present as well, and holds her position, her hands ready to make the necessary motions to cast a spell.
Three more are now climbing over the railing on the other side of the ship. They are all within move and attack distance from anyone upon the main deck. Please state your actions for the next round. The zombies cannot attack this round.

Lenore will rush below deck and quickly attempt to don her armor.

Out of curiosity, how many rounds will it take for her to get her armor on and return to the battle?

Styrk feels more comfortable with his blade in hand. "Taste steel, you watery bastards!" he cries as he charges and attacks the unwelcome boarders.

Krank

Aye! What the lad just said!

Krank rushes over to the new gurglers after dispatching his first one. Double teaming on them if possible.

Attack w/ Magic Sword [1d20+3] = 11+3 = 14 Damage [1d8+3] = 1+3 = 4

Not understanding why the undead are not intimidated by his superior will, Harick attempts to turn them again, Back to the waves!

Is there a reason he can't turn these? Do I need to roll? I didn't roll last time because I assumed it would be automatic (T)

Cmo - Halfling

Cmo passes by Lenore and joins alongside Styrk. He'll position himself in front of Harick and Beya and attack the first creature advancing with his sword. "The smell of sewer.....at sea! Rotten demons..Die!"

Sorry for the extreme delay. I'm going to have to put this game on hold. I know I asked a lot of you all (rolling up PCs and what not) and gave you very little in actual adventure. But, when I took this on everything seemed ok for me, but then life just got crazy. Good crazy, so that's good, but crazy all the same, and there have been days when I haven't even had time to get to my computer.

So, please accept my apologies and we'll try to pick this back up hopefully sooner than later.

No problem Greg.
I think most of us saw that coming.
KranK will be around whenever you decide to resume.

No problem, Greg. There's no doubt you have your hands full, and we all greatly appreciate everything you do to keep this site up and running, so if this game needs to be put on the back burner for a while, so be it.

RL - hard to predict. No worries. I'll be back in if you have the chance to resurrect it. Thanks for all your hard work running the site!
