Brother Canis follows the group in the house, heeding the good advice to remain quiet and vigilant.

Rukiel does not fancy wandering around in the dark if he can help it, relying on only one light source or a dim second. He will check the oil lamps found in the rooms the group travels through and see if he can light some of them. 'Here's to hoping there is still some oil left in them,' he thinks to himself. Once he secures a light source, he will use it to better search for anything of interest as he follows the group.

"So," he says out loud in a quiet voice, "these rooms are pretty sparse. You think someone might have beaten us to the looting? The occasional piece of aged furniture might be nice if it's fixed up a bit, but I'm looking for things that can be easily put in a bag, you know what I mean?" Rukiel lazily looks around the room he is in and shrugs.

Hantae

Quietly "Maybe, but usually looters a pretty messy and we haven't seen much of that yet. The armor may have some value but heavy and bulky obviously."

Hantae listens at the door and if she doesn't hear anything she tries to open it.

Rukiel, while casually chatting with those who will listen, manages to scrape together another oil lantern from his surroundings. He wanted a second light source with plenty of oil to burn and found such. With the second lantern in hand, he helps shine a light on areas that other group members are investigating, keeping an eye out for anything of interest as well.

He sighs with relief when the oil lantern in his hand successfully flickers on. "Ahhh, no more eye squinting for me! And yes, heavy and bulky indeed," Rukiel says in agreement with Hantae. "BUT... we did bring my wagon. Transporting one, maybe two sets of armor would not be impossible." He says this a matter of factly but does not hint towards giving it any considerable thought. The group was sent to recover important documents and such, not armor. Rukiel remembers this much.

Hantae Invisible

"I found a ledger, an amulet, a spyglass, a double spyglass and some platinum plates. Maybe everyone else should search too? The ledger might be what we came for, some more knowledgeable of that sort of thing should look at it." Hantae stuffs the ledger in Bandir's hand and keeps the rest of the stuff for now.

Bandir

Bandir quickly scans the ledger being careful how he handles it.

Quietly Bandir says,”I think there might be some scrolls as well. I’m checking to see if this is the ledger we are after. Some of us should check the room too.

Bandir puts the ledger in his backpack.

Bandir searches the room.

"Scrolls, eh? Might be that this place has a library of its own. If I were a betting man, that's where I'd store them. Right? Rich people have their own libraries, right?"

With oil lantern in hand, Rukiel looks for an area with lots of books in it. If he can't find one, he lingers around the others to shine a light on their efforts. "Scrolls come in cases, so keep your eyes peeled for a case..."

Searching the Summer Longue aka ROOM #9:

Searching still mostly just results in finding basic reading books and other odd items to entertain guests with, metal serving trays some made of platinum. Fancy looking humidor empty unfortunately some trays for putting out various smoking items in. The same items Hantae mentioned. There are some fancy drinking glasses looks to be made of crystal. However in the south east is located a door that opens into what looks like a stairwell, then you discover it leads to two different stairwells one likely for servants the other larger and a bit more elaborate likely used for guests and the ones that lived here. Both stairwells go in two directions up and down. The stairs going down lead to the cellars, the ones going up obviously lead to the second story.
