Shay gets a wry smile on her face an says I like that idea. A well placed sleep spell could certainly take out one of those groups.

Selonis (Crow) Strings his Bow, knocking an arrow and taking aim. He will wait before everyone enacts the plan before firing.

We simply need to wait...and stay alert...we need not be ambushed ourselves. Doric does not keep a steady eye on the goblins, but scans for "those in trees" like the previous encounter.

Birds chirp reports back to Doric of the 12 goblins all with spears and poorly armored watching the road expecting travellers to attack from the best their little bird minds can tell. None of the goblins have noticed anyone. But the look eager.

Rician Lockwindberg - Paladin - AC 3 HP: 14:

Just to clearify:

We hit 6 of the Goblins just as they attempt to ambush anyone coming down the road.

Then we aid those that were to be ambushed, helping them rid of the other 6 Goblins.

This may cause confusion among the ones on the road as to whom the actual ambushers are, at first.

Dat be the plan boss.

Hearing the bird's report, Doric lifts an eyebrow as he finally realizes what is meant by bird brained when this flying chicken dinner can't spot a half dozen humans in ambush, but can spot something half their size which actually live in the forest.

Aye but the goblins suck at concealment the "bandits" were much more camouflaged using brush, leaves and sticks to blend into the forest goblins are idiots.

The goblins were facing the direction of you all when you were on the road it is suspected that they likely heard you guys travelling on the dirt/gravel road. The goblins you can see look very anxious but as time passes on they start to look a little confused where did the foot steps go? One of the goblins is as far as you can tell giving orders for one of the others to do something. You see one of the goblins start to move out to the road. Investigating or scouting not entirely sure but you can tell these dumb smelly beasts are thinking something is amiss.

I think we need to engage them now. They likely were ready to ambush US.

Sorry, no sleep spells or range weapons on me....so....

Crow, still hidden among the brush and behind the group of goblins lets loose an arrow at the goblin that decided to check the road, trying to keep himself still concealed.

Crow Long Bow: [1d20+2] = 11+2 = 13, Damage: S/M[1d6] = 5, L[1d6] = 5

Using his quarterstaff, Doric will also close the distance and engage one of the goblins, if possible.

Quarterstaff strike [1d20] = 20 damage sml/med [1d8] = 4 lg [1d6+1] = 6+1 = 7

Nice to get a 20 on the first swing...If I can actually get into range

and after 4 days the secret spell of the goblin wizard finally wears off. The goblins are long gone, the village, known now as Brigadoon, has disappeared into the mists and the camp of Robin and his men is empty, a note says "Gone to Sherwood". Doric gives himself a good scratch, thanks Obad-Hai and bidding the others well, makes his way back to his own forest and the care he has sworn to.

Sleeping enemies:

Having most of the goblins asleep the party dispatches them all easily. The two that did not fall to the spell are also slain really quick but now the other 6 on the opposite side of the road are aware something is wrong and have begun to move as a unit towards the party members.

With the first group taken out Crow lets loose another arrow into the group of Goblins currently on their way over. Continuing to keep his presence concealed from the goblins.

Crow Long Bow: [1d20+2] = 11+2 = 13, Damage: S/M[1d6] = 2, L[1d6] = 4

To Hit Roll: [1d20] = 5

This will unfortunately be a swing in a miss!
