A watch shift is quickly formed and the resting begins. The first watch shift goes quietly nothing is seen not even small critters crawlers or anything. Second watch is not so successful Crow and Arthur or Bandir whomever was on the 2nd watch... are alerted to the sight of a large cave spider crawling towards the cavern the party is sleeping & resting in from the same direction as the bathing pool passage (south of the resting location) and looks to be searching for food.

Actions for those not resting? Bandir, Arthur & Crow?

Bandir tries to confuse the spider by moving a few feet to the sides and then going back to the fire assuming one was made. Either way he fires arrows at the spider.

Bandir: Fires off two arrows at the approaching spider hitting with one for 4 dmg!
Arthur: Charges into the melee with his rapier missing with a stab.
Arastor: Fires off two arrows the magical double 4 arrows fly off and one hits for 2 dmg!
Crow: digs out a dagger and charges the arachnid but misses with his stab.
Krakus: takes up his massive axe and also rushes to the spider swinging dealing a massive blow 26 dmg! Crit!
Mathias: stays back and watches the fight mentally pulls out an ale and sits in a comfy chair watching the battle like a sport.
Pheras: Slings a bullet at the giant spider hitting for 4 dmg!
Rician: Armorless charges into melee and swings at the air

Giant Spider 1: The Spider tries to get to Pheras but since there are melee attackers blocking it's path it bites at Krakus missing!

As the first spider goes down Arastor sees his compatriots coming up the tunnel. With a shout of warning he takes aim at the first and then the second, hoping to slow down the general progression until the party organizes.
