Sorry for the delay, guys. Would anyone like to cast any other WTF information gathering spells, besides Rik here, while your party merges with this ragtag lot of merchants? If not, then I'll wrap up the Asanda River thread and begin a new one.

Zelaz doesn't have such spells. He will gladly cast disintegrate when he finally can, though. That might make the other group say WTF :)

Zelaz says, It is the new one, Tasrem. He has betrayed us! I knew we could not trust him.

Mr. Cook was kind enough to include this abstract map of the caravan. It's heading east to west, right to left. Your party, and the approaching hoard, are to the left, off the map if you will. As Ahmed Khel described, he's grouped his men into four defensive positions, numbered 1-4. Assuming you go along with his plan, which position would you like to take up? The horde is large enough, and the terrain open enough, that you could be attacked from any and all directions. If you don't want to go along with the plan, what would you like to do instead?

Zelaz is not much for tactics. He suggests we carry on with the current formation, wary of trickery.

He also says, When they get in range, I say those of us who utilize the dark forces can use lightning or fire to winnow the crowd. The rest of you wait, fire your bows, and take on the remainder. If there are any.

If all agree, then he will fly back up and prepare for shock and awe.

Aristide - Rogue

Aristide says "Max and I prefer a flank. But that's us."

Taranna will wander over to area #1, or wherever they look like they could use the reinforcement.

Roikos rides between areas #1 and #3 staying close to side #4; the idea is to be maneuverable to wherever the need is at our weakest, which is between #1 & #4, or between #3 & #4.

I apologize for lack of posting. I'm swamped by work right now and probably will be through at least Thursday. Please NPC Diego as needed.

Thanks.

Hi guys, as you no doubt have figured out, I just can't make a go of DMing right now. Busy home life. New baby due 6/25. Dead laptop. To say nothing of being busy at work. I want to thank you all for your continued support and patience--especially for this adventure that--but I need to pull the plug.

Maybe it's for the best. Perhaps the Master was just destined to overrun the Republic after all. :D

I'm sorry to hear that, tumblingdice. I enjoyed what transpired so far (and loved my character).

Congrats on adding to the clan.

Too bad, it was great fun and I enjoyed the game. Good luck for what's ahead for you, and hopefully there will be other opportunities to game together!
