You hang out in the store room of the Deepfires for what seems an hour, and then Altos walks quickly in with a smile on his face.
He looks over the group and around the door quickly or anything unexpected and then starts right in.
I found something that might be our big break! I think the Fat Man will be down here in the next couple of days.
There is a huge shipment of slave fighters taken from a battle in Tethyr. These men will be used in the fighting pits. I've heard that the Fat Man himself may be coming down to take part in the bidding! This migh be your chance to get him!
Spanning thanks for the heads up!

Tantos Vek, failed paladin:
Vek nods grimly. "Good work. What can you tell us about the layout of the slave market? Can we go there today?" he rasps, his mind already turning to their killing floor.
(Or tomorrow? I'm unsure what time it is)

Enoka:
"Good fortune to us. Yes we must scout out the slave markets as soon as we can."

Roseheart offers, while looking at Vek, "We are in agreement that we aren't going to just attack him in the middle of the city, right?"

Glimble "Fortune appears to smile upon us we have some planning to do. Though a straight forward attack in a public spot is surely stupid. I imagine our friends with other skills might have a better plan to get the job done is a bit lets say sneakier fashion." the gnome cleric gives Garl a sly look.

Looks confused... so... well.... he looks like Forrest. "Why would someone want slave fighters? What did the slaves do?"

Altos thinks for a moment you've probably got around 20 house. Plenty of time to sleep if yer tired big man!Inferno wrote:Tantos Vek, failed paladin:

Altos - theyve done nothing wrong except for being on the wrong side of a batlle. Tethyr is a country of worms! Perhaps we can use this injustice to do a little good anyway. Will you go directly at him at the market or use his absence to infiltrate into the keep?Bluehorse wrote:Forrest

Vek didn't have an answer for that yet. "Let's see the market," he grunts.Darkmane wrote:Will you go directly at him at the market or use his absence to infiltrate into the keep?

Hi, does this mean 20 hours until the Fatman goes to the slave market? Thanks.Darkmane wrote: Altos thinks for a moment you've probably got around 20 house. Plenty of time to sleep if yer tired big man!
Also, if there's no day or night, is there a daily period when most people sleep? Thanks.
Re: 11-Skullport-Trip 2- After the Fat Man!
Altos responds, There used to be no real easy or night down here, all the businesses closed or opened on the whims of their owners. Its still a bit like that. However, a few years ago some gnomish Gondsmen built a massive water clock in the center of the lower tradesway. Businesses are starting to cvone around to the idea of creating a daily cycle for this hell hole of a city.
Its a little less than a day, about 20 hours, until this sale starts. I've heard that the fat man himself plans to be there. He hasn't really been involved in the glatiator trade, so maybe he sees this as an area for growth of his sick business.

I would think he would take a formidable contingent with him outside the fortress. Leaving the fort on low guard. On the other hand he may be in the open outside. Just need to figure out how to survive post attack.

"We should observe him in public at least once" says Garl. "We know so little about him, and this is a sure way to do it while keeping our risk of discovery as low as possible."

Yawns and distractedly thinks of a warm bed to sleep in, but hearing Gimble talk about heading out to town, he forgets his stiff muscles and wounds, perking up like a puppy that hears the doorknob. "We're going to see a clock?"
