Vek welcomes Forrest and Glimble. The grim defender of lost children still votes for the Fatman.

Glimble "Forrest what party?" thinking more on the dragon versus fatman issue "I still think the fatman should be dealt with though I cannot say the dragon issue does not peak my interests it'd be interesting to dissect one of them there are man uses for their blood and other body parts in magic and alchemy science may well have additional uses for them at the temple of Gond. But maybe later deal with the fatman first."

Vek does know of a good bakery where you could get all the cake you can eat, the owners have had several thousand gold donated to them by Vek... and he also saved their son from being sacrificed to demons by a drow elf priestess. They typically drop by the apartment several times a week and leave fresh baked goods for your adventuring group, rain or shine, winter and summer.

Tella - Elf Mage

Tella is fine going after the Fatman or dragon, either one is a great way to die and should prove fun.

Tella accepts the 3000gp for the spellbook as 300pp.

Here is the D20 if you still need it: [1d20] = 9

OCC: She will give the following folks their shares:
Enoka = 37pp, 8gp, 6sp (minus 5pp Tella fronted her for living expenses)
Isabella/Forrest = 42pp, 8gp, 6sp
Steth/Glimble = 42pp, 8gp, 6sp
Garl = 42pp, 8gp, 6sp
Tella = 47pp, 8gp, 6sp (5pp extra from Enoka)
Vek = 42pp, 8gp, 6sp
Roseheart = 42pp, 8gp, 6sp

OK, well unless anybody has plans to spend their new platinum on something rare, our last item is to decide on an adventure path:

Fat man= Vek, Glimble

Baby dragons/jewel= Garl, Roseheart

Tells is OK with either, and enoka was in favor of taking on the Fat Man but that was before news of this dragon plague was revealed.

Forest, not sure he would vote, what do you think Blue?

Forrest would likely tag along with whatever Glimble does I guess as so far that appears to be the case.

Glimble will look into getting more ammo for his Arquebus regular ammo and the special ones he used on the undead before the ones with holy water in them. He will also see if the temple of Gond knows of any ammo that can emit light much like when he casts his light spell.

Tantos Vek, failed paladin:

Vek thanks Tella and hauls 500gp more to the bakers he's coerced into serving as a charity for the neighborhood. "See that the people that need this most get it," he grunts.

The grim warrior brings back some cake for the lost, child-like Forrest.

Forrest will always follow the crowd.

He looks at the money then back to Tella. "Thank you, niice Lay-dee." He wrestles his coin purse out of the confines of his bulging pack and add the money to an already impressive collection of gold.

Also failed to mention the usual Donating a good portion to the Church of Gond and if there is a nearby orphanage Glimble the gnome will donate a good amount to them as well.
20pp to Church of Gond
22pp to local Orphanage or just to the poor in general.

The folks at the bakery see Vek and begin to overflow, first with refusal, then thanks, and then Vek is walking out the door with some tasty cake, and several fresh loaves of bread.

Gm- it seems like the party is leaning toward taking on the Fat Man? If so, you will likely need more preparations. Your biggest issue might be your possible success, if you dispatch all the slavers you may end up freeing some people. You dont know an easy way out of skullport so you may condemn any slaves you free to a death in the dungeon.

Tella could contact Mahair from the guild and find out what they could do or know. Perhaps a return gate exists, or they could get you in touch with more Gith? Their astral travel method worked great last time. Another option is to win over a smuggler... But you wouldn't even know where to find one eight now...

Tella - Elf Mage

So, it sounds like were going for the Fatman again. Getting there I think we can try the candle shop again. Getting back is the issue. I can chat with the mages guild unless someone has another idea.

Are we basing our success on the potion of phasing or are there some other preparations we can make now in an effort to secure success?

"Tella, that is a wise question - how do these potions of phasing work? How many can be phased? How long will the phasing last if we encounter a wall that turns out to be a mountain?
I never did find anyone interested in this polymorph rod - that provides us with some other interesting options as well. Do some of us phase in while others transform into some other person, or creature, or some scary flying demon, or some other small inconspicuous creature.." he starts to get carried away with himself considering the magical opportunities that may work.

"Perhaps some scouting is in order so that we can map out exits, entrances, risks, and weaknesses? We should work out some type of plan of attack - and a fall back plan should things go awry..."

DM - do we have any map of the area of the fat man?
