Tella - Elf Mage

I'm glad we were able to help some others on the way. Overall an excellent outcome. She will say with a wide smile.

W\Trevor takes the crown and smiles, "We'll have to protect this better the next time around! Here is your prize, as promised!" He displays two bags of supple leather. The first has 8 emeralds,Trevor explains that they are each worth 1000gp, and the second bag has 2000 gp in it!

"So, what will you do with this treasure?" Trevor laughs with a twinkle in his eyes.

Glimble smiles at Trevor "Well being a gondsman I will use my portion to give to my local church of Gond. I know it is a boring thing but it is what we clerical folk do. Donate to charity and church. I thank you for the overly generous payment Trevor. Perhaps we shall cross paths once more."

Brother Thorax looks very serious now. "I will found a temple to Clangeddin in Waterdeep. There is nothing this place needs more than his presence and sacrament. A place where all civilized peoples are welcome to worship in drink and song as well as observing all the other rights of his way."

Glimble "Sounds to me brother Thorax that you would need a temple with a tavern." he says with a wink and a smile.

Ganon:

Upon see this Ganon knees become weak and he becomes light headed. He grabs onto Tella's shoulder to keep his balance. :o
"Whoa, I need to sit down."
He eyes the room and searches for a place to sit. If no seat is available he will sit on the floor.

Cormack glances at Ganon, the rolling of his eyes practically audible. He looks to Trevor and smiles, "I fear mine will be considerable donations to good Brother Thorax's taver, err temple."

Tella - Elf Mage

Tella's smile grows a bit more at the sight of the loot. Indeed, keep us in mind the next time you have something of interest come up. She will say with a slight bow.

Tavern with a temple inside... or vice versa... Brother Thorax, that's brilliant.

Ganon:

While in town Ganon will purchase a short bow and sheaf arrows. He will visit his guild and give 35 gp (most of his money) and train in his thieving abilities and short bow.

OOC: I don't think Ganon should share in the crown reward. He wasn't hired by Trevor and it was never part of the quest. He does take his share from the dwarves, 50gp. Character sheet has been updated.

Glimble will bid farewell to Trevor and take his portion of the party reward to the local temple of Gond once again doing contributions to his god, and working in the temple to replenish his arquebus ammo and charges. He will tell the party "I must go pay tribute to Gond I will return to our apartment and we can consider our actions if you'd Like Ganon you may have use of my room until we tidy up Muriel's old room."

Tella - Mage

Tella will take her share of the loot: Congrats gents that's a healthy amount! She will talk with the long term members of the group: I think we should cut Ganon in on a full or half share... he was present during what amounted to the most dangerous part. Thoughts?

She would like to buy whatever inks are needed to copy the spells from the recovered book to her own, then she will hole up in her room to perform the copying act.

OCC: Any XP get handed out? She's close to leveling.

OCC: Let's figure out what the final split on the $$ is, Tella's thinks Ganon should get at least half a cut.

OCC: Got it, duh! :) Tella also puts 70gp recovered from the dungeon into the pot. She has a staff with two interchangeable crystals that was also recovered, guess she'll get it identified. After copying the spells recovered from the spellbook she'll sell it and contribute it's value to the group also.

You spend a bit more time with Trevor before you head back out into the bustling streets of Waterdeep at night. You all are a bit wary hiking the long trip back to your apartment, but you make it there fine, but by now it is probably past midnight.

The next several days are committed toward busy activities and errands as you guys get caught back up....

OOC:

Copied from the treasure thread:

Two goblins on ramp:
-740 sp, rusty dagger, copper dwarf runes (O - R - A - N - M - D)

Boss Fight:
-Muriel:
Magical Longsword "shiny and sharp" - does anybody use a longsword?
Magical Lockpicks (Ganon)
Spellbook (worth a bit of coin, more to Waterdeep's Order of Magists - in Tella's bedroom)
shortbow w/arrows (up for grabs)
pouch with weapon black (up for grabs)
Two small firestarter stones (up for grabs)
-Orc Priest: bag of gems (need appraisal)
-Gold coins (200) from Under Illerfarn, symbols of the hammers, Korin, and the mountain upon them (these need appraisal, they are special and worth more than 1gp each)
-Gold covered griffon egg from the elves (stored in PC apartment)

So you got:
200 dwarf coins
gold egg
bag of gems from orc
740 sp
copper dwarf runes
8 emeralds
2000gp

If each of the four original group take 2 emeralds each you could give Ganon 1000gp as a 1/2 share and then either split the final thousand (250gp each, or keep it at home).

You could split the 200 dwarf coins into 50 coins each.

*Ganon: Waterdeep has no thieves guild, it was violently removed from the city years ago... there still is organized crime, but it is harder to find.

Just search Waterdeep for Mort the Money Lender he was or is at some point the main "local thief guild" essentially.

Does Thorax have the time and availability of resources to smith armor for himself and others should they choose? Other than that he is going to take all but a hand full of coin and begin interviewing people and places to establish his tavemple to Clangeddin.

Instead of buying a short bow and arrows Ganon will make use of Muriel's. Since there is no thieves guild to speak of in Waterdeep, Ganon will purchase some locks and a chest which he will use to improve his lock picking skills. He will also search for an archery teacher to train him in the short bow.

as for Ganon's share I have no qualms giving him a 1/2 share even though the party had originally just pooled most of our money from our first adventure.
