Blaze Horner Blaze Horner: random search [1d8]=4 Cutting a staff and tapping ahead, he hopes to locate any hidden traps. We shouldn't make too much of a trampled trail to the crevice otherwise it might alert any scouting Bugbears, Hobgoblins or creatures that we are nearby. Once at the boulder, I w...

Crabgrass

"Someone has grabbed hold of me! Sleep them!" he advises Dubricus

Caught himself, he resorts to his Shocking Grasp but cannot seem to summon much arcing power in his casting, to zap those who restrain him.

Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).

I do like that the campaign accounts for random character actions and attitudes which have profound implications in a character's later adventures; Dalin catching Mummy Rot which meant he looked diseased and was welcomed into the leprous Bugbear hovel, Sven shaking hands with an undead pirate and ge...

Re: Smoking Out The Bandits

Crabgrass Just a flap, not a tunnel. Okay if room enough only for a head to poke out then, a head can poke in. Firstly I will cast my Sanctuary spell upon myself to give a basic protection. Then using a niche head as a grisly prosthetic hand puppet, put it through the flap. Speaking in orcish, &quo...

Blaze Horner Blaze Horner: Wisdom check vs 15 [4d6]=13 Well, moving on from the bloody dell is goid. It confirms the Bugbear renegades are active and that they have an antipathy towards others. I think (certainly from reading past threads) that the Bugbears had converted to Set worship and when fir...

Xerxes "They are damned souls, restrained for judgement day. Greedy ghouls not doubt." He has thoughts of doom and gloom regarding prisoners wondering how any living would remain so hale in this strange environment. Zygmund , maybe the bar has some physical traits. A conductor of electrif...

Re: Smoking Out The Bandits

Crabgrass Quite adept with a sling at the coconut shy, he could have tried a few heads as target practise. One head is not there. I presume it didn't just grow legs and walk away. So I am thinking more 'whack-a-mole' hole in the ground? They retreated by wriggling back into a tunnel. I need to inve...

Crabgrass

"Trophy heads. As I shared earlier. Knowing Kobolds though, I wouldn't be surprised that some are trapped or even some are paper maiche."

I will go, against my better judgement perhaps, but investigate the heads, poking at them with my staff.

Trust it goes well Eric and you are back on your feet soon. Cosmo has been a character from the very game beginning, so involved in many key adventures.

Re: Smoking Out The Bandits

Crabgrass Muses on the day's event. We are a long way from stalking the bandits who wait by the fallen log to waylay adventurers. Now on the fringe of the Chaos Caves, he smiled at the irony. Picking up on Meinhardt's suggestion, "Well I know a troll lives by the goblins that side. Make sure w...

Re: Smoking Out The Bandits

Crabgrass Just waiting hours in hope a bandit that we can ambush comes by seems a random chance that could be as waste. Bandits are bandits aren't they, whether one group or two. If we can smash a smugglers ring, that might also get a bounty from the Keep. He muses his thoughts, guessing that our d...

Re: Smoking Out The Bandits

Crabgrass To be honest, it doesn't make sense to me. Bandits bringing stuff to zombies who then take stuff to skeletons who guard it for other bandits. Seems rather convoluted. So these zombies will eventually return and wait here for unpaid work? I am not sure waiting for the zombies return or any...

Re: Smoking Out The Bandits

Crabgrass Glad he was not grabbed and pulled down into the churned up earthy graves. The boggy patch is quite strange. Is it just 'a mass grave' of whoever (adventurers, bandits, woodsmen, merchants); people killed in the forest and Caves and just dumped here or an actual old grave site? Once no mo...

Re: Chapter 1: The mystery of Odlo Hillhouse

If no one else goes to check through Odlo and the Tortoise and his bizarre throne , then Xerxes & Zygmund will do that after dealing with comrades bodies. Was there anything to find in searching these three places? I think it best to add the total loose coins from deceased into a pot and share ...
