As we know, Karraway is petrified. I did some quick perusing through my 1ed and OSRIC books, as well as my memory (what's left of it), and can't find or remember any way of reversing or 'curing' a petrified character. Is there a way? (short of a wish spell) Stone to flesh spell...which I don't know...

Delgath maneuvers so he can avoid looking at the beast directly he then casts levitation on the beast hoping to pin it face up on the ceiling.

Delgath reattaches his belt pouch, picks up the lantern and his staff Unless Phanstern takes his latern back and then looks away from from hole.

Elwita is able to avoid fully entering the courtyard (surprising herself by her ability to exercise that much self-restraint) but she can't seem to prevent herself from leaning her head forward. With squinted eyes, Elwita tries to get a better look at the courtyard. Not sure if this is allowed... D...

Delgath turns to Phanstern and takes possession of the lantern. He holds it up so that it shines on the area that Phanstern is searching.

Delgath checks his spell pouches; reassured that nothing is amiss he nods at his companions and waits for the people in front to move out.

Round 3 Delgath steps into the doorway and seeing his halfling companion fighting a foul beast of the underworld attempts to jab the monster...

Attack with Staff [1d20] = 8

Damage from Staff [1d6] = 2

Round 4 Delgath swings again...

Attack with Staff [1d20] = 11

Damage from Staff [1d6] = 4

Delgath enters the room and using his quarterstaff attacks the creature that is in melee with Blodgert.


Okay, I know I will need to make a save vs. paralyzation and hopefully an attack roll...need help on how to do this.

But also keep in mind... this is a one-night campaign. We aren't going to be making camp and sleeping and memorizing expended spells again. Use it and you can't get it back. So we need to be smarter about where we're going and what we're going to fight. The goal is to find out who the slaver ringle...

Thanks...next question may I use levitate to pin an opponent to the ceiling? Assuming I can would this require me to maintain concentration on subsequent rounds?

Dred does not mind helping with guard duty.

So, unless it is an action that will directly involve my character making a decision, I'm fine with the caller/party leader going with what he thinks is best. Or, I'm fine with everyone giving input as to what our default actions should be in certain situations so we don't have to ask for everyone'...

Just checking in so I get a notification from this thread. I am good with any marching order with my magic-user either last or second from last.

As the wizard in the group and an AC 6 I would like to be second from the back. As to party leader, I am one of the new guys to pbp so I will take the role of "magical advisor" and let someone else lead.
