Re: OOC I

Understood, Dave.

Thanks for DMing.

Re: What's Next?

I concur. Ardium would certainly like to be sent to town to recover a few days and then continue. I will attempt to read through and see what the challenges were focused around. I agree that too many pcs are hard to corral in a pbp game, unless all but one or two become silent followers. Thanks agai...

Re: OOC I

You know, if you had rolled like that a couple months ago, this would have been just a minor skirmish...

Re: OOC I

First, I want to apologize for stirring up questions, and making it seem like complaints. I am fine with the outcome. I just wanted to understand the logic, as I am a rules/order guy. Second, Dave IF we somehow get out of this battle, I DO hope you continue. I love your games, always have, and want ...

Re: OOC I

What is the calc used to determine if a "fleeing" monster returns? I just decided it did. I was going to have it make a morale check (succeed and it returns, fail and it continues to flee); but I ultimately just decided that it would return -- period. No roll required. It was unharmed whe...

Re: OOC I

Dave, What is the calc used to determine if a "fleeing" monster returns? I couldnt find anything in the 2e book on it, other than the player gets one free (un-timed?) attack in same round. I dont see how the orc would be expected to turn around if it is fleeing based on morale fail, and wo...

Re: OOC I

And here I got all excited seeing an update. Little did I realize it would only be an update to someone attacking the fleeing orcs— again —not a resolution of Round 16. Well, attacking the fleeing orcs worked out so well last time, why not again? ;) yeah, I would have hoped for a held action or eve...

Re: OOC I

Dave,
While it may soon become moot, is your latest update showing round 16 dying scores instead of the updated round 15? I think Ardium fell in round 13, so after round 15 he would be at -4. -5 would be after round 16.

thanks

Re: OOC I

ha...so how's that healing going to go there for the almost dead? Speaking of Delgrot bleeding out, he should be at -6, not -5. It's correct in my footer information, but not on the map. Both he and Jaroo will be at -7 next round. As for those currently unconscious, my ' Dying, Death, and Healing '...

Ardium will sit this round out :)

Hopefully the cowardly thief will at least come around and bind the two bleeders out.

Re: Session 5: Beliard

Ardium flinches a moment from the incoming missiles. ( INIT [1d10] = 8)

before swinging his sword again at the orcish leader.
He feels something connect.
lngswrd(Thac020) [1d20+1] = 19+1 = 20; d-s/m [1d8+1] = 8+1 = 9;d-lg [1d12+1] = 8+1 = 9

Re: Session 5: Beliard

Ardium guesses he wouldnt be able to stop the slaughter if he attempted to save Alexa.

INIT [1d10] = 8
He moves to flank the large orc and drop him with a sword, but misses severely.
: lngswrd(Thac020) [1d20+1] = 4+1 = 5; d-s/m [1d8+1] = 5+1 = 6;d-lg [1d12+1] = 5+1 = 6

Re: Session 5: Beliard

According to the map... August and Jaroo are next two the 2 entangled crossbowmen? do we know how long they are out of action? There are 3 regular swords and the leader next two Roderick and Delgot There is a shortbow out in right field facing dorobo. I just want to confirm I have the map correct.....

Re: Session 5: Beliard

Ardium grabs his sword, realizing the orc is not a safe distance away at the moment.
INIT [1d10] = 5

He slashes with all his might, hoping to at least remove one baddie.
lngswrd(Thac020) [1d20+1] = 14+1 = 15; d-s/m [1d8+1] = 7+1 = 8;d-lg [1d12+1] = 11+1 = 12

Re: Session 5: Beliard

Ardium tries to mentally shake off his mistake, but freezes for a bit. INIT [1d10] = 10 he places two well placed arrows at the closest open orc, (assuming it is the leader based on the map) lngbow (thac0 20) [1d20+2] = 15+2 = 17 ; dam [1d6] = 2 lngbow (thac0 20) [1d20+2] = 15+2 = 17 ; dam [1d6] = 1
