I believe that Wrathbone has the right of it. It would be best to face this sorceress had on. I have a duty to St Ygg to destroy what Undead I can and would gladly assume the risk of marching first.

Symeon will stop his ears and prepare to cast Command at the Harpy to "halt" if there is trouble.
Muttering to the party, "neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you."

Good man, Gen.
For we walk by faith, not by sight
If no one objects, Symeon will allow Gen to get clear and take the risk of flicking a coin through the illusion to investigate.

Brother Symeon At Durgo's request, Symeon will lead the followers of St Ygg in a prayer for guidance, though he expects a fortification of the group's resolve rather than a divine sign. "And He went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fi...

Symeon, still galled by his failure against the ghouls, is eager for a chance to redeem himself.
I concur with Bhelnus. The captive needs aid and in our current state an ambuscade is the best method.

Re: Barrowmaze: Repatriating the Red Lion of Aerik
Brother Symeon I am loathe to leave the maiden, but she is as likely to be bait left by some evil as she is to be the victim she seems to be. My prayers are spent besides. Lead on, Fydmar. Symeon will stick as near Fydmar as he can without spoiling any stealth, to be of aid in case of any ambush.
