Reluctantly, he steps into the water until his head is above the surface and uses his large round shield to cover his head. He follows the others, swims if he needs to.

Wades to the path ensuring that he guides Jobo beside him, and offering a helping hand when he can spare it. He clambers onto the path and is thankful. He gently puts Festus down and helps Jobo up. The three of them continue to follow the path together.
