Re: Chapter 3: The Lord's House

Luck Test: [1d20] = 1

Apologies that it took a whole day to roll that. If I'm MIA with a roll pending, feel free to roll for me after whatever amount of time is deemed appropriate.

Re: Chapter 3: The Lord's House

Hlalf will listen at the eastern door, while shielding the candle light with his shield from casting light through any cracks or keyholes.

Hlalf prefers candles because he can snuff them out quickly if needed.

Re: Chapter 3: The Lord's House

Hlalf continues after briefly waiting for his ally. Unless someone tells him to stop he'll keep descending.

100 feet would just be down to the ground floor again at Hlalf's size so this probably goes to the basement.

Re: Chapter 3: The Lord's House

Hlalf ponders as the others investigate the room: " One man drink milk, he grow and another shrinks. If all men drink milk, all grow... who shrinks?

Re: Chapter 3: The Lord's House

I have been to the other side. It is cold. I need a moment.

Hlalf sits and collects himself, checking his wounds, and strengthening his resolve.

Rest: [1d12+1] = 8+1 = 9

Back up to full HP. Warriors have a D12 hit dice right? I don't have the book with me right now.

Re: Chapter 3: The Lord's House

Am I free to attack this round? Now on the ground, and gripping his final javelin, Hlalf looses it at the same knee he burried the previous into. Init: [1d20+2] = 4+2 = 6 To hit with javelin: [1d20+1] = 7+1 = 8, Damage: [1d6-1] = 2-1 = 1, Deed: [1d3] = 2 But alas, head still swimming, his throw goe...

Re: Chapter 3: The Lord's House

As the giant's metal fist smashes Hlalf against its leg, his world turns black. He feels himself falling, falling, landing with a thud. Opening his eyes Hlalf finds himself in a frozen cave. Blue light filters through an icey reflecting pool, bathing the cave walls with undulating glimmer. Upon a ro...

Re: Chapter 3: The Lord's House

Clamoring up the metal man's leg, Hlalf pokes a javelin into the gears of its hip joint. Init: [1d20+2] = 14+2 = 16 Melee attack with javelin: [1d20+1] = 19+1 = 20, Damage: [1d6+1] = 4+1 = 5, Deed: [1d3] = 3 Deed : jam a javelin into its gears to immibilize or slow it. This may make it easier to top...

Re: Chapter 3: The Lord's House

Sorry I'm a little mixed up. Do you need another initiative roll from me for the round I will attack in, or are we not there yet? Also I assume I climbed fairly high since the shields won't help me.

Re: Chapter 3: The Lord's House

If you could position the force shields near its hands you may be able to hinder its attacks. Init: [1d20+2] = 20+2 = 22 To hit with javelin: [1d20+1] = 19+1 = 20, Damage: [1d6-1] = 3-1 = 2, Deed: [1d3] = 2 Strength Test: [1d20+1] = 20+1 = 21 Hlalf hoists himself up with surprising speed for his si...

Re: Chapter 3: The Lord's House

Deeply confused by his size reversal, Hlalf continues to attack the automaton. Init: [1d20+2] = 16+2 = 18 To hit with Skullbreaker: [1d20+2] = 5+2 = 7, Damage: [1d6+1] = 6+1 = 7, Deed: [1d3] = 2 Out of character I have an idea for the potion puzzle, but Hlalf certainly doesn't kbow what to do...

Stamina Dam: [1d4] = 3

Edit: with the earlier damage, that's 5 total, bringing my HP down by 2, to 7 i think.

Re: Chapter 3: The Lord's House

Hlalf brings his hammer down towards the metal man's knees, attempting to knock it to the ground (deed) so that his smaller allies have a better chance to strike vital components. Init: [1d20+2] = 3+2 = 5 To hit with Skullbreaker: [1d20+2] = 14+2 = 16, Damage: [1d6+1] = 5+1 = 6, Deed: [1d3] = 1 The...
