I'm still in. Been busy with adapting to real life after the holidays. But things are settling down.
I am good for whatever the veterans of this place want to do.

Re: Interlude 7: Rolling in cash
Liam would also like to go into the mount.
I would very much like to see this magic fluid. And from what the dwarves tell, there are a great number of sites of interest to me deeper down.

Re: OOC Discussion 3
Hey all,
I'm going to be out of town for a week on vacation and I'm not going to have consistent access to internet.
What would be best? Should I have my character return to town from here, now? Or should he just tag along silently (maybe I can get some posts in during the week.)

Re: Interlude 7: Rolling in cash
I'll take the flask... I'll need a torch to light it from a distance, I have only a lantern.
Liam will take the flask of military oil from Torgyr and pour it to cover the other flank, to the best of his judgement. As soon as he accomplishes this, he will pull back and pull out a dart.

Re: Interlude 7: Rolling in cash
Liam asks... How dangerous and aggressive are these wolves? If this is their hunting ground and we return weakened after our delve, would they consider us possible prey. We should take care of them or scare them off now? Also, Liam is quite interested in this distilled magic substance. Is there any ...

Re: Interlude 7: Rolling in cash
Liam begins acquainting himself with his new surroundings. It is pretty clear to all that he has spent most of his life cloistered in study or in the larger cities, so he is not so used to a smaller settlement. He has some coin and would start to look for a place to spend the night and unpack his te...

Re: Interlude 7: Rolling in cash
Liam examines the mask... Interesting, this appears to be a Thuliam war mask... however notice that the mask is an image of a monstrous creature. The great Thulian genrals wore mask like this, but true masks from their age represented images of the gods or mythical heroes, not monsters. I would say ...

Well.. um... yes... it is true that it is difficult to... um... the arcane arts are not to be used trivially... um... But you can clearly see, my staff is etched in the runes and sigils of my arcane order and denote my rank as an Arcanist of the Order... Liam's staff is etched in runes... the etchi...

Re: Interlude 7: Rolling in cash
Liam approaches the group. He is slight of build and wears this slightly over-sized wolf skin cloak over his cassock. He introduces himself to you all... "Greetings, I have heard word of you and of you talents. My studies have brought me here to find Thulian histories and relics that may be fou...

Re: OOC Discussion 3
Looks good, Monayuris. Welcome Liam :) Now, given that both you and Randolpho have blue mage's cassocks and have studied Collegiate Wizardry, perhaps you share a mentor...? Just a thought... Randolpho had a bit of an awkward meeting with his mentor just now. Dunno if that kind of potential drama ap...

Liam's extra spell roll for Int 16 is: [1d12] = 6 I just used the core ACKS spell list and the Player's Companion template for starting spells, pro...

I'll post Liam's character sheet in the character sheets forum for review.

Re: OOC Discussion 3
Hey everyone.
Thanks for having me. First time with play by forum. I honestly don't get to play all that much. So I'm really looking forward to this.
I got some decisions to make for my character. I'll work on it as soon as possible.

Re: Hello, everyone!
Thanks, everyone.
I was checking out the looking for games section and did see some interesting games going on. Looking forward to trying it out. I eventually want to try running via PbP, but I figure baby-steps.
So again, thanks for the warm welcome!

Hello, everyone!
Hi, I'm Monayuris (I take the name of my most memorable and longest running character.) I'm joining this site to explore Play By Post and I've heard a lot of good things about this place from other social media / forums. I GM for a number of games in person , but I've never really considered PbP bef...
