Vesper grins at Harry, "So I look bad you say? Well you should see the other guy! Now what's a gal got to do to get some drink and a bowl of soup? I'll give you a little song in payment or would you prefer the coin of the realm?" The thin half-elf bears numerous piercings in her nose and ...

Re: Character Creation

I missed it to as I don't have any coin either. I also have more equipment than I want to carry (78 pounds of equipment for a 37 pound person seems excessive even if the rules say she can carry 102 pounds). Although I know the encumbrance economy for 5e is very broken for anyone not of average size...

Re: Character Creation

Sorry if I missed this so where... how do determine starting money. I looked at the printout I saved from that we page and I can't see it there. Is it as the basic rules? Basic gives a starting wealth. You've all got free equipment, weapons and armor, so I'm not going to even decrease this amount. ...

Black Wolf nods from over near an open door leading into a dark hallway, "Black Wolf, with a strong sword arm! Look, at least, he ain't undead and appears to want to help us, so welcome to the party, and let's get on with exploring this hallway." "It don't seem like it, we haven't ev...

Re: Starport Bar (OOC Chat Area)

Thanks for participating Alebelly. I wondered as a suggestion, that with Becky (TheMyth), Theodore (Gorethirster) and Piotr (Alebelly) all withdrawing that each of those characters could be assigned as a 'sidekick' or 2nd character rather than npc'd in the background. I concede my own lack of Trave...

I wasn't suggesting you allow him the 200gp Breastplate, just stating its the best he can aspire to. :)
I'll go as far as studded leather. :)

The group got to where the collapsed temple in the ruins lay. The priests had told you to go to the crypts there, and you were just starting to enter the old graveyard when you were ambushed...it was a fighting retreat from there. So, no you didn't finish the quest for the Temple, but you have a be...

Arram The bearded man appears to come to a decision. He stands and makes his way over to the table of wounded people. On arrival he nods at those at the table before speaking in a rich baritone voice with a hint of a 'common' accent. "I could not help but see you enter and overhear your situat...

Re: Character Creation

Thank you for the advice Marullus! I think Breastplate (AC14) only allows +2 from Dex right? So I could go with a Chain Shirt (AC13), and end up with the same AC? All the medium armors limit your Dex bonus to +2. So, Chain Shirt is 13+2= 15. Scale Armor is 14+2 =16 bus has disadvantage on dex/Steal...

Level 1=3+INT, Level 2 add 3 more, etc. Hellebore is Wizard-2, so starts with 9 spells, your choice among Tier 0 and Tier 1 Spells, you won't have access to Tier 2 spells until Wizard-3. I'm returning to advance a Tier on odd Levels.   [*]There is no limit on spell levels known - higher-level spell...
