Recruiting is now closed (sorry)
I just got word from an old buddy of mine who will be joining the game. That will be all the cats I want to try and herd.

Re: EPISODE ONE: THE JEWEL OF SUMATRA
"Naturallement. We should perhaps be on the police payroll, since we have given them so much activity." Jean-Claude grins. If the professor is OK, we should probably head back for the ship.

Carthage 621
The Traveller's Rest Inn at Carthage 621 is a long, low building, with lots of windows that look out from a diner onto the Possible Highway. The inside could be any Mom-n-Pop diner along any road: knotty pine walls covered with posters advertising the special of the day, a jukebox playing Merle Hagg...

Re: The Possible Highway (Based on Zelazny's RoadMarks)
Ylinnett- glad to have you. It would be unlikely that any two PC's know each other before the game starts, but if you have a good backstory, I won't say NO.
As for other things to avoid- not really. Just don't try to bring in Batman and his full collection of Bat-gadgets

Searching for players for "The Possible Highway"
Thanks to Max, who gave me the go-ahead to post this here! There is a Highway that runs through all possible worlds and times. Certain individuals have the ability to travel this road- to any world that has ever supported life. The Possible Highway is full of adventures- crosstime cargo runs, salvag...

Re: The Possible Highway (Based on Zelazny's RoadMarks)
Knowing GURPS is completely un-needed. I handle all the mechanics part of the game- Just tell me what you're planning, and I'll handle the non-Roleplay bits. I got a PM regarding vehicles: As I picture the Possible Highway, the people who travel it are just using ordinary vehicles. Red Dorakeen, the...

Re: EPISODE ONE: THE JEWEL OF SUMATRA
Jean-Claude barks out an order, "Take her alive!" and snaps a shot at the goon holding Mudoch. He's hurting again, but he's been hurt worse- and lived.

Re: EPISODE ONE: THE JEWEL OF SUMATRA
Jean-Claude's pistol is in his hand almost instantly. "I think we have unfinished business with your lackeys, madame." With that, he fires at the thug oin the left.

Re: EPISODE ONE: THE JEWEL OF SUMATRA
"Zat is doubtful, my friend." Jean-Claude glances around the table. "For my part, I have no idea what is inside, except that those bastard Nazis apparently want it." He turns to the side and spits on the floor. "I spit on them! They are a cancer on mankind." "I wou...

Re: PLAYER CHARACTERS
I never got around to describing Jean-Claude: He's about 5'10, very thin (wiry, if you want to be generous- scrawny if you don't). Mostly bald, with thinning black hair and a truly magnificent walrus moustache. He usually wears a fleece-lined jacket over his coveralls, and always has on a Chicago Bl...

Re: EPISODE ONE: THE JEWEL OF SUMATRA
"Let us be sure of what we are dealing with before you open it, Murdoch." Keeping one arm pressed to his side against the wound, Jean-Claude goes through the dead gunmen's pockets, looking for any ID or other clues. "I had hoped we could wound one to interrogate, but such is not to be...

Re: EPISODE ONE: THE JEWEL OF SUMATRA
At the sound of the shot Jean-Claude pulls his M1911 and turns to see who did the shooting. "Who you are? An' what do you want?" he calls, ready to return fire if these strangers open up.

Re: What would you like to play/run? (Interest Catch-all)
Rredmond- I assume you were asking me. I typically use a homebrew version of GURPS. I've kitbashed the hell out of it, but the players don't need to know too many details. I handle all the mechanics on my side of the monitor, and let the players roleplay.
