When Crobeus catches up to those moving away from the caves, the Paladin attempts to get some idea what spooked them. "What's going on, and why are they still there?" he asks, gesturing toward Crabgrass and Dubricus.

"Uh, heads up. We may have a problem." The paladin draws his sword and starts moving toward the others when he sees Magdal nock an arrow as she backs away.

"This is not what I signed up for. I just thought we were looking for bandits, not going to the caves," mutters the paladin to those who hung back. He shifts from foot to foot nervously, anxious for the others to return.

The paladin shrugs at Pimlan's comment. "Eh. He's likely rich and powerful. If the bandits messed with him, either he'd hire mercenaries to go after them or the keep would send out guards. Nobody is risking their necks because we got robbed."
