There's a difference between pirates and privateers.
What's the space-borne equivalent of maritime law? Do we need to have someone with that skill?

Re: [Interest Check] SWN Revised

I'm not sure which way I'll go regarding a character. My general inclination is Psychic or AI, but mostly I want to have a party that fills the slots for Battle Stations.

I'd rather be on RPGnet just so I don't have to watch two different forums.

Re: [OOC] Into the Unknown

With normal starting gold I didn't feel like I could afford a mount to start, but I do have a mule on my sheet. I'll get it over at some point.

Re: [OOC] Into the Unknown

Invisibility and Web are really the best 2nd-level spells, and ESP is a close third.

Re: [OOC] Into the Unknown

Cool. This is my favorite premise out of the games you run. You are not the first person to tell me that. You are not even the first person to tell me that today . One question for you: Select two 2nd-level spells, or take three randoms? A question for all: How do you create an RPGnet wiki page aga...

Re: [OOC] Into the Unknown

Guys, I'm going to have to withdraw, at least for a while. I'm not doing a good job of keeping up with things, and I need to focus on the game I'm going to run.

It's fine. Tacitus would spend his share on a few more weeks of rations (1 week fresh, to eat now, 2 weeks iron to replace what he's eaten in the past couple weeks.)

Re: [OOC] Into the Unknown

How much flaming oil has he got?

I figured two lengths of rope and two grappling hooks (unless we have those already), and then we just see how much flaming oil he can sell us.

Tacitus the Adventurer "Inquiring of this man is as likely to lead to him tipping them off as it is to us gaining valuable intelligence. I think that our best option is to gain a certain idea of their location, and then proceed out there with rope and grappling hooks in case of a wall. Maybe s...
