I've seen HP discussed by someone...(let me think)...in another forum...(DF?)... and his opinion was that HP reflected ones actual "Stamina"...the degree to which one can move/exert/burn calories/etc., while avoiding assault be it physical/magical/breath/poison/and so on. Basically, all ch...

I'm a new "oldie"

Hello everyone.

I've been involved with D&D since about 1977; though 1980 was the beginning of my true apprenticeship.

I've been hanging around various forums since 2007, after a lengthy sabbatical.

Heard about this place for a long time, and thought I'd pop in and see what its about.

I think I got to book 8 before I threw my hands up in defeat and said, "T'hek wid et!" Jean Auel's Clan of the Cavebear began a good series, that she quickly mutilated in book 4. Tolkien almost lost it in B2 "The Two Towers"--and then dropped the ball completely in RotK. Big epic...
