Re: Barrowmaze: BRAGging Rites

Moorheeth

Having packed away the breast plate Moorheeth joins the others searching about in the skeletons room. Ill check the blades and coins upon the floor, first by poking about with my staff and then following up closer if they seem to be worth anything.

Re: Barrowmaze: BRAGging Rites

Having watched the attempts to heal Vann, Moorheeth says a small silent prayer for the elf. Moorheeth hasn't yet mastered magic powerful enough to remove curses.

He will join the group following those that wandered off.

Re: Barrowmaze: BRAGging Rites

Moorheeth

I like the idea of sticking together for a bit. There are some really weird things down here.

Moorheeth will watch the healing of Vann intently and move to help if needed.

Moorheeth will move forward to back Vann and Dewey up. If I have a clear lane I will hurl my hammer at this thing that rose up.

Re: Barrowmaze: Where-Rats

Moorheeth Pockets the treasure. Moorheeth agrees with the strategy of searching through the area well taking down all of these doors one at a time before we venture too far down one of the corridors. Ill stick to the middle for now and back up Vann and Sundance while they use their skills to look f...

Excellent plan to search the bodies in the pit. Ill help hold your rope. Anybody have any good ideas on how to deal with that zombie?

Re: Barrowmaze: Where-Rats

Moorheeth

Lifts up his holy symbol, readying himself to cast or turn undead while Vann moves cautiously into the room, but for the moment will hold.

Let's hope not Sir Dewey, but there certainly seems to be enough dark magic in here for a curse such as that.

Re: Barrowmaze: Where-Rats

Moorheeth

I can perhaps lend aid if we intend to bash it down (perhaps by helping lend a bonus to someone else's roll?), however, I think it best if we try another door so we avoid all the racket.

Re: Barrowmaze: Where-Rats

Moorheeth

Moves to the door on the far end and looks to see if there is anyway to open it without making a ton of noise. Maybe the hinges are exposed? If not he will at least listen at that door for a bit while Vann is investigating for secret doors in the main room.

Re: Barrowmaze: BRAGging Rites

Moorheeth

Moorheeth takes up his position just behind Sir Dewey and the front line folks, so he can offer healing and also smash things when necessary. He will have his quarter staff and throwing hammer ready.

Re: Barrowmaze: BRAGging Rites

Moorheeth

Mostly keeps quiet pondering over the encounter with hobgoblins and the way the final one reacted to capture. Might be more to the attack than what we could find at first glance. He listens to what he can learn if anything from this new group.

Re: Barrowmaze: BRAGging Rites

Moorheeth With the excitement over, Moorheeth will brush himself off, and then inspect the wound on his chest for dirt from the rusty blade or slime. Some of these creatures use filthy or poisoned blades. I'll clean the wound out with some water if it looks dirty. Alas. These could not be saved. Go...

Re: Barrowmaze: BRAGging Rites

Moorheeth Noting that there are more competent fighters just behind me, Moorheeth will push on if he can and only engage the hobgoblin that tried to skewer me if it comes into the cabin behind me. Otherwise once in there I will render aid, drag them to safety, and then apply cure light wounds to an...

Re: Barrowmaze: BRAGging Rites

Moorheeth will try to get to the cabin, if he can get through any secondary fires caused by the fireball, and heal anyone needing help (if any yet live). He will have his mace ready in case there are hobgoblins inside.

Moorheeth Stretching out after helping tidy the roof up Moorheeth shakes hands with the others, this is a good thing you've done here! Hard work in the sun has bolstered my spirits! Given me a few ideas for my shrine as well. He walks off with more spring in his step, finishing something with his h...

Re: Helix: Chapel of St Ygg

moorheeth Fresh from his visit to the Rosy Quartz, Moorheeth pays a visit to the chapel, entering gingerly and looking about slowly as his eyes adjust. He will make his way in slowly and hope to introduce himself to the priests. If one of them is available he would love a tour of the church and wou...

Happily caching the 240gp, Moorheeth thanks the proprietor: thank you good sir, I’ll be back in a fortnight, if they finish early I’ll be at the inn.

Re: Helix: The Rosy Quartz Jewellers & Moneylenders.

Moorheeth

Entering the Rosy Quartz as well, Moorheeth pulls forth a pouch of gems and says, Gur Hirwen is it, my name is Moorheeth cleric of Arcantryl, I've heard you've been able to increase the value of these by cutting?

If Gur Hirwen agrees ill take the same deal as Sir Dewey.
