Dwernoc says to Urrok, "Yes, I think you should try opening it. Slowly, carefully..." Dwernoc steps forward to the cylinder that Virmel opened. He looks down to see what he can see. He sniffs the air and listens for anything out of the ordinary. To Virmel he says, "I will wait here a...

Schlovell looks back at the entrance. It's not too late, he thinks, I can go back home and forget this evil, trap-filled temple! It is obvious to anyone looking at him what he is considering. Sir Hanout Longpepper places his hand on Schlovell's shoulder. "Steady, Schlovell. Don't forget your n...

Re: Chapter 1: Out of the Frying Pan...

Virmel, seeing that the capable Rojo needed a second pair of eyes, waits for a second opinion on approaching the middle pillar. In the meantime he considers Dwernoc's statement. "Fascinating. Why doors, then? Why enter a column beneath a statue? A manner of communing with the gods? Receptacles...

Sir Hanout Longpepper (nobleman) speaks to Irakas, "It is well known that halflings are lucky. You stick next to me, my friend; with our two swords and your good luck, you and I should make it back unscathed. Yes? Come along now. Schlovell! lead the way." Schlovell (blacksmith) hefts the ...

Dwernoc stands next to Yisun. He speaks quietly, "If I am judging our position correctly, I would say that these pillars are directly below the statues of the gods above. Perhaps they are somehow connected?"

Sir Hanout Longepper (nobleman), "Well, that seemed to have some affect. Schlovell, go an apply that pole to the stone and see if you can get it roll away." "Uhh... Yes, sir." Schlovell (blacksmith) reluctantly returns to the stone. As carefully as he can and without touching th...

Re: Part One: The End of the Road

Seven kobolds come trudging down the hall into the light. The largest of the seven wears a droopy, dirty toque and a stained apron. He carries a large cleaver. His six assistants carry large metal pots (with clanking metal lids) filled with a steaming, stinking slop. The cook and the guide exchange ...

Dwernoc watches as the Rat opens the door. He listens expectantly for something, anything. He pulls his curved dagger from its scabbard. He glances over his shoulder just in case a threat is approaching from behind.

Re: Character Creation: Rules and Discussion

Oh, but the problem is, every time I click on the link I provided, it re-loads 4 new characters... I'll try to figure it out and get a couple of characters posted. I did this same thing the first time. Yeah, and I had a couple of elves that I really liked  Though I probably shouldn't ge...

Re: PROLOGUE: The Temple of Chaos

Sir Hanout Longpepper stands some distance away watching the others toil at opening the door without success. Schlovell curses the stone and backs off a few steps. "It just won't budge, sir." He leans on his pole, breathing heavily, wiping the sweat from his brow. "There is a circle ...

Re: PROLOGUE: The Temple of Chaos

Sir Hanout Longpepper laughs "Ha! I think the halfling has the right idea. But, alas, how will I win back my father's favor if I slink back to town without first finding the missing villagers?" He straightens his rumpled vest and dusty tri-cornered hat (his finery had seen better days). H...

Re: Character Creation: Rules and Discussion

I saved the pdf in my google docs and got a link to it. I posted my characters in the character thread. But they aren't the elven characters I had originally generated... I lost my link to those.

If I am good to go I will post my characters actions? Thanks

You're good.
